  1. Just the latest in a long long series of having hopes raised, followed by abject disappointment. Why can’t we EVER have nice things? I really hate this football club. They know how to kick me when I’m already down.
  2. It seems we can only produce a decent performance once every 4-5 games.
  3. Massive opportunity today to really get the momentum going in the first of a run of winnable fixtures. Up for this one more than I’ve been for a while !!!
  4. How about you stop being condescending as per usual. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the posts you quoted, and what does “artificially frame group of results” even mean? One of the worst posts I’ve read on here for a while.
  5. That figure will go down, with some long trips still left for them to do. The best away fans in the world will average less than 1000.
  6. I want us to win every game, apart from the home match against Blackburn. I’d like us to lose that one 1-0 if possible.
  7. Massive opportunity missed for QPR last night to claw themselves out of the bottom 3. That could be a very damaging result indeed for them, and hopefully it will affect their morale and confidence.
  8. I feel like you’ve accurately predicted the future. All it will take is a draw on Saturday and the feel good factor around this place will disappear and we’ll see the usual suspects out in force. The mood is so volatile these days.
  9. The only “but” I can think of is that our inconsistency is such that we could well go and have a stinker against QPR! That’s nothing but speculation though, I really cannot fault anything about tonight. Every single fan on this forum has earned the right to enjoy this result. We’ve been through some hard times and this is what keeps us smiling !
  10. Whaaaat my stream just went down and we scored a second!
  11. That was a decent watch. Fully expect Southampton to turn the screw more in the second half, but if we keep them out and get a point, that would be a decent enough evenings work.
  12. When the opposition score all five of their penalties, that’s very difficult to match. Credit to Mehmeti, Cornick and Wells for converting under such pressure, unlucky Sam Bell. I feel our season isn’t quite over yet. We’ve got another 12 points to accumulate before we can hit the magical 50. Hopefully we can do that sooner rather than later!
  13. Yeah I messed up the other day, but criticizing a fan for sitting in the home end (which by the way is against the stadium rules) is hardly the worst crime ever committed on this forum and doesn’t warrant a nasty response like that. Sure, other people called me out, but unlike yourself, they did so respectfully, none more than Spazza himself who actually educated me a lot about the number of away season ticket holders Leeds have. I was unaware such a system actually existed, and would have thought that a Friday night TV fixture wouldn’t have been too tough to get an away ticket for. Add that with a bit of alcohol and general dislike of Leeds and yeah I was a little below the belt, for sure. But so were you and your post absolutely WAS offensive. There was no critique of my remarks, it was nothing more than a mish mash of adjectives and superlatives used for mocking and belittlement. If you won’t apologise then please consider the language you use in the future. This isn’t the first incident, I find that you regularly talk down to other forum members and try to make them feel small.
  14. I made the effort to come on here and apologise to Spazza for stepping out of line. Are you going to do the same to me for this vile post ?
  15. Emotions have been running high recently. It’s nice that we can all admit when we make mistakes and apologise/forgive. We’re all human after all, so let’s not be too harsh on each other. Best wishes to your wife @pillred and your mother @Red-Robbo
  16. That was a bit uncalled for wasn’t it? @SPAZZA Apologies for the hostility mate, it’s been a long week and I misinterpreted the tone of your post. Thanks for the explanation. An apology from you please Chippenhamred. You’re one of the best posters on here, but there was really no need to be so offensive.
  17. Friday night, winter, live on sky, Any genuine loyal Leeds fan should have been able to get a ticket. If you’re having to sit in home ends all the time, that doesn’t say much about your loyalty to the club. You feel the need to come on here and tell us you’re sat in our end; not to be respectful and open dialogue about the game but to try and boast about how massive you are. I can see right through it. I hope you have a throughly miserable evening. COYR!!!!
  18. It must be almost 20 years to the week since the original classic thread ! Hartlepool away, January 2004 right ?
  19. Let’s face it, we never get so much as a sniff against these horrible scummy bastards. Worst fans in football, but they’ll probably enjoy themselves at Ashton Gate again tomorrow night.
  20. How many Leeds fans in the home end I wonder?
