How many loyal and true could be arsed to turn up does anyone know? Didn`t the bloke who scored two for Newport used to play for them?
I dont know about that, but Timmy Abraham (who they were so excited to get on loan after we had Tammy) played for Newport.

I didn’t sought an argument, I said our strikers miss sitters.
Lets leave it there. I am an experienced City supporter and you are someone who don’t like different views to your own.
I'm fine with people having a different opinion.
I dislike people like you jumping in on something I said in order to just slate people.
I made a light hearted comment on Hugill's finishing to emphasise the sheer number of chances he had during the game.
You jumped in to slate our strikers who have had poor service in 75% of our games this season.
My previous comments on you still stand.

Bloody hell, somebody showing a bit of perspective...........................
More concerned by the performance today than the result. But I expected a lower midtable season before it started and still expect the same now.
Obviously the quality of the opposition and how well they play can sometimes make our own performance look better or worse than it actually was, but first half in particular we extremely poor.
WBA will be sacking their manager if they don't go up without a doubt, some of their players should be in the Premier League.

If you watch the games you will see our strikers miss countless sitters. I agree the service could be better, but when the chances come, our strikers miss sitters. Scott against forest is prime example.
Forget about giving abuse to people who have a different view and concentrate on valid debates.
I only debate with people who aren't a waste of oxygen.
You actively sought an argument, you got one.

We really need to beat Barnsley Tuesday, to get a couple of monkeys of our back.
Are they new rivals to Sheffield Wednesday?

The obsession on here about him and Johnson is insane.

Just confirms your childish attitude.
Of course it does.
Go take a swim in some concrete boots.

No point in criticising strikers until the lot behind them can create chances.
Which is why I was pointing out how moronic @City1970 was bringing them into it.
Hugill had a boatload of chances and my post was saying "if Hugill could finish..."
City1970 brought our strikers into it when they had absolutely 0 service.

This is a forum to discuss City, not just this match. Weimann, Martin and Wells have missed countless sitters this season.
I will ignore the childish rant.
This is a thread about today's game, where I was making a comment about today's game.
Ignore away, you couldn't grasp a very simple concept.

4 mins added time. WHEN WILL IT END!!!
Ref's playing until we take the lead.
Which will be about 3 years from now.

Maybe Steve has tightened the strings so much that he didn’t have much choices apart from signing a 34 year old free agent to add a bit more depth in a very weak area??? Lansdown was happy to spunk money left right & center for his mates, but not with a proper manager…….now that sounds familiar.
But backed himself into a position where he cannot back to the same degree because we will go miles over FFP.
If we had more room to spend we would, we don't so we won't.

I’ve had a think and come to the conclusion, missed countless sitters.
What sitters have Weimman, Wells and Martin had today?
Have you actually been watching the game?
We've created nothing of note and didn't manage a shot in the first half.
Hugill alone had enough good chances for 4 or 5 in just the first half.

Unless Tanner was feeling a bit under-the-weather but still fit to play. The backpass could've suggested he wasn't up to it.
Hypothetical, of course, but that might explain it.
We'll find out after f/t.
Someone suggested it was his attitude after the backpass- not busting a gut to make up for it- that got him hooked.
With regards to the sub itself I'm not going to judge too harshly on it.
Some players react better to a gentle arm around them, some react better to a kick up the arse, everyone is different.

Finally something good has happened.

If Weimann, Martin and Wells could finish…
not only in this match.
How many chances have they had?
How many has Hugill had?
Now have a think why I said what I said.

He should have had 4 alone first half.
2 or 3 gilt edged chances this half.

If Hugill could finish...

Diangana is a class player.
Surprised no one came in for him after they were relegated.

Odowda on for Jay

WBA are going to run out of stretchers soon

City fan stretchered out now.
Players not out yet.
