So how many are going to put in transfer requests to leave
I would say none. They would lose benefits so they just poodle along until their agent gets them a better gig .

Without that car crash, I’ve no doubt Kevin would have gone on to a higher level than he ultimately played. Huge potential.
Yes , another loss for the club and player. Bloody Tinnion.

No decent manager will work under the current set up.
Pearson did for quite a while before it went chest up.

The results since NP left do however make a mockery of the stated reason for sacking NP and appointing Manning: that NP wasn't getting enough out of the players and that bringing in Manning would mean a much better final league position.
This aim has blatantly failed.
What is the Board's response?
Is it "Oh well." perchance?
He really should have stayed ‘ doing a good job at the academy ‘ and let better qualified people occupy the post in which he is struggling badly.
Still we all know who is really the culprit here.

JL wouldn’t take over because he’s incompetent & has no credentials to run a club
What are you talking about no credentials ?
The clue is in the surname.

I firmly believe that the hierarchy will support their boy in the summer with new signings and he will be gone by October.
It’s what they do. Freaking clueless the lot of them. -

If this is what you base things on then I recommend not looking at the Swansea stats last week!
I didn’t watch the match ( I was washing my hair) but cold hard stats don’t point to a hammering.
Just to add that , curiously , after more than fifty years loving this club.I don’t really care anymore. I am thoroughly peed off with the club . I have dropped Robin’s TV . Rarely listen to the interviews or watch the highlights. They have killed the little enjoyment that I got from supporting this team.

Good one! And, yes, I’ve seen a couple recently where I genuinely haven’t had a clue. I guessed at one, and at the other I waited to see who came out!
Risky though: there’s one or two posters over on a particular thread on the politics forum who’ll have something to say, and likely at inordinate length, if they spot this!
How about this beauty I saw in New York. I just peed in my trousers as it took too long too decide which facility to use.
I don’t collect toilet sign photos by the way , contrary to the evidence.

You could literally pick Manning up and put him down at any club, anywhere in the country, and he would say the same things.
Compare and contrast to the previous bloke who took a genuine interest in the area and the club.
The difference couldn't be more stark. Or more dispiriting.
Good results will help Manning, obviously, but if I try to imagine a really successful season under him, I get the feeling it would still somehow be a joyless experience - certainly compared to some previous managers - with victories delivered in a cold, clinical, "don't get too high, don't get too low" manner. And at the end of it all we'd still be none the wiser about who he is or what he's like.
But that's enough hypothetical, pigs might fly, nonsense from me today already.

The End of the Beginning and the Beginning of the end

One big problem I have with Manning is the impression that he does what he does for Manning. If he was successful here he’d be off at the drop of a hat for a bigger gig.
Pearson had nothing to prove and did what he believed best for the greater good of everyone. A leader of men.
How can a bloke who’s achieved the total sum of bugger all in his career really tell , for example, Premier League winners James and King how to play football ?
Or give enough confidence to the youngsters that they will succeed with his coaching ?
Massive cock up from our owner. Bullet meet foot.
