    accurate abridged version:

Insulting, vindictive claptrap spouted by a non entity with no experience or knowledge of the game of football.

So what kind of entity might you be? Oink oink.

Just stating that he looks useless and giving examples to demonstrate.  Now please keep it civil.

That'll help the lad. That is unless you don't want to.

Of course I would like to see him doing his job and scoring goals, but so far I've seen nothing to impress me as regards strength, pace, skill, ability to pass a ball to a team mate or hold up play. I really can't understand what out scouts were able to see in him.  But of course, I would love him to prove me wrong.

He certainly seems to make an effort but his output is close to zero. Not the sort of player to bring on when you want to change a game and doesn't look up to L1 football, let alone Championship based on what he's done so far.

Probably the best way to help him would be to transfer him to a L2 team where he might be able to make an impact (and even at that level, I'm not convinced).

You put a crying face emoji on one of his posts, probably by accident but i took it as its sad that we haven't scored in over 5 games!

You are correct.  Not me though as I have not been on the forum all day.

My apologies to Harry, who I find to be a sensible poster who I have never had any reason to give a sad emoji too.  In fact I hardly ever use that emoji.

  4. I have not commented on this thread and having read through the entire thread, I am unable to find a comment even purporting to be from me.  4 of you have been offended by something, but the first I even knew of this thread was a notification.

Either someone has said something under my user name and it has been deleted or something odd is going on.

Can anyone clarify, what I am supposed to have said?

  5. Strange player massengo. He started out as a prospect, always plenty of bite about him. At one point he would of been one of my first names on the team sheet but never really developed/kicked on. Began to lack confidence in the end and invited pressure with a sideways and backwards game. Ultimately lacked pace, height, strength, shooting/pass power and forward thinking play. Maybe he'll develop in the right team but if you look at the likes of semenyo, scott, pring, different gravy. Flattered to deceive and lesson learnt from the ashton era I suppose.  Doubt we'll be splashing the cash on any more lemons from monaco any time soon :D

    Its on Robins TV

Is that definite? Not an international broadcast or anything else that stops ir being broadcast on a service we have paid for and often seem not to get?

  7. I see they have announced their season ticket prices for next year.  7% increase may be too much to bear for some of them and their season card fanbase may drop below the meagre 5k they have at the moment.

Imagine having to spend all that money to sit in a bloody tent every other week with a dirty bunch of hobos watching a convict and wife beater managing that load of dross.

Anyone know how many of them manage to get in on each ticket nowadays?

  8. You can never be sure with transfer fees as a lot of the money swilling around in football has always been off the books. i.e. bungs, brown envelopes or paid through offshore tax havens that neither HMRC or the football authorites officially know anything about (well they do know but can't prove or turn a blind eye to).

Look it’s like I said earlier if you can show me west end show or a top live band where the tickets are under £50 let alone watching the English champions the let I know , people choose their seats because it’s the best they can afford well if your centre of lansdown and it’s £35 a game to watch Rotherham then surely you expect to pay £15 more for Manchester City it’s a bit like watching the Wurzels or oasis ?

I would prefer to watch The Wurzels personally ?

  10. £9m is disappointing to me as I was expecting £12m as an absolute minimum as decent forwards have always been more expensive than defenders and midfielders in the main. When you consider what we got for Lloyd Kelly and Josh Brownhill, I am quite surprised.

Clearly Antoinne wants to test himself at a higher level and of course wages will naturally be a big factor too.  I wish him well with his new club and internationally and will be keeping an eye on his progress.

Whilst he has potential, he is not yet the finished product and of course had we been able to keep him, we could have found ourselves with a player with a long term injury a few games further down the road and potentially worthless from a financial perspective.

It will be interesting to see how much of that money we invest in a new forward as he will not be easy to replace.

I don’t understand why there’s not an option to have tickets posted - it’s a tiny gripe all things considered, but I have ticket stubs going back decades and they bring back memories of games I’d long forgotten.

I've still got xmas cards coming through the door even now and an important hospital referral letter posted on 15th December only arrived yesterday looking like it had become soaked and dried out then left on the sorting office floor with a footprint on it.  You certainly cannot rely on royal mail to deliver your match tickets in time these days.

  12. Thanks for your help guys.  I feel confident now to use the phone rather than print the tickets.

Hoping now for passage into round 5 and  top Prem opposition at Ashton Gate, though first and more importantly we need a good result against Blackburn tomorrow.

Any links for those of us without Firestick? Can travel anywhere in the world.

Nothing I have been able to find.  Will watch Wolves v Liverpool instead I think and follow the city game on the skysports app live text commentary.
