Love how they still think he'll rip up his contract at Peterborough ?

Yeah, why wouldn’t he? It’s the Gas after all.

Why wouldn’t anyone in their right mind not want to jump at the chance of joining Da Quarterz?

Gas innit? Gas, Up da Gas….6th richest club, coming for da Shit, In Joey We Trust, New temporary stand with concourse more massive than the Atyeo, moving to the 27,001 capacity stadium at the Fruit Market, Unlucky da Shit!

Bet he’s tearing his contract to shreds in front of DMacs face right this minute!

  2. The Tillson lives on.

If anyone is interested in renting a property in Portishead I know a guy who has literally just put one up for rent due to totally Tinpot circumstances.

£800k signing would have deflected the supporters of everyone’s favourite second club away from the South Stand circus and the non existent progression of the Fruitihad Stadium.

I spoke to a Sag yesterday about the building site and his words were ‘Totally Tinpot and Embarrassing’. That made my day in itself. The failure to submit the paperwork for the JCH deal on time put the cherry on top of the well iced cake.

The gift train to oblivion keeps on rolling with Dad’s Army onboard.

    TINPOT!

    ????????

  3. I think SL has been clear in how he wants the club to operate. He doesn’t want us to be operating at a loss and continuing to make up the shortfall from his own pocket.

He has invested heavily in the infrastructure of the club and HPC to make it attractive to young players who can see that there is a genuine pathway into the first team.

There is no way that we could have competed financially to sign a player of Alex Scott’s ability, but we could produce it at a fraction of the cost.

We have to work within the constraints of FFP, but also we need to balance what comes in vs what we pay out in wages.

The risk of simply throwing money around is far greater than the likelihood of achieving success.

Whilst it might be frustrating from a fans perspective the situation is the same for the majority of clubs in the football league.

You only have to look at the turmoil that has led to 8 - 12 point deductions and almost inventible relegation as a result of clubs that have chosen to take a gamble.

We have avoided FFP penalties, avoided the drop to League One, slashed the wage bill and have profited from the investment made in our academy.

Football is not just a game, it’s serious business with astronomically overinflated costs.

There will become a point where the bubble has to burst and when that time comes we need to be in the mix to embrace and take advantage of those changes. The alternative is that we end up going to the wall long before that time comes.

Yes, SL is quiet, but why repeat what he has said on a number of interviews over recent years?

NP is doing what is required of him with the resources at his disposal. I don’t know of many managers who would want to work in that way as poor results with limited options would reflect badly on their own reputation. Fair play to him. I think quite a number of fans recognise how difficult a job he has and this is why they don’t jump on his back.

  4. A family member went last night and his thoughts were that we seemed to lack any urgency, continued to surrender possession by opting to launching long balls, thought that Cornick didn’t even look like a footballer and was stealing a wage, said that Mehmeti kept hold of the ball for too long and should have passed to Wells, Wells just ‘strolled about, Bell did a lot of running without impacting the game, we chose to pass it around the back and play it back to Max when we were 1-0 down with time running out instead of trying to get back into the game and was very impressed with Yeboah and said that if the rest of the team had played with the same intent as Yeboah it could have been a much better game. Overall he said it was rubbish and boring.

In order to cover it in burger Source Gasheads are asked to hold the burger in front of their crotch whilst they are told to think about 2 goals: -

    1) Rickie Lambert JPT

    2) Dean Windass - Playoff Final

    …….SPLODGE!

He will get another job soon because even if he doesn't necessarily walk the walk, he does talk the talk. And just like Hollowhead and others for a time he'll probably have some success, he is streaky Lee after all. I've always felt his biggest problem, like his dad, was over thinking the opposition.

He tried to over complicate football full stop.

Not sure how a conference stand can knock out championship (ready) sprinklers- that’s a massive cup upset

    Right up there with Chesham.

It was great listening to the Wycombe commentary yesterday. They spent the entire first half pointing out everything at Rovers that was completely Tinpot.

Haven’t laughed so much since the Villa groundhoppers did the same whilst also pointing out just how obsessed they are with City.

It was interesting that the more Rovers fans got frustrated with the game yesterday the more aggressive they became with their ‘Sheeed’ead’ chants, resorting to throwing bottles and coins like Neanderthal goons.

You just knew that Joe Low scoring would trigger the **** out of them. Set the mood for the rest of the day. Now Joey is a Charlatan, Collins is shit, they need loads more players and they’re not going to be able to show their faces to gleeful Shitheads for a few days because of the humiliation of it all.

Win next week though, coupled with a defeat for City and they’ll be coming for us big time, singing the blues and all arrogant shitheads can **** off. ?

In a three sided ground with less than 8000 there it should presumably be fairly easy to identify who did it.

What a ******* tinpot outfit they are, Dad’s Army defence, plus a bunch of loan players & a jailbird manager.

Plus a building site for a ground with a sink hole ?️
