  1. Yup - Blue Anchors! Perhaps they'll adopt it as their nickname.
  2. It's Catchphrase time ... ... "just say what you see, folks".
  3. "Hundreds on the train maybe but tens of thousands of gasheads left on the station and all because of them sheeds in the first carriage [coach 1]. Thank heaven for boob cricket or we'd have nothing to do. UTG"
  4. I'm sure that all of us on here will unite in asking you, Miah to please pass on our sincere condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of Paul, a fellow Bristolian.
  5. Thank you, kind sir. That truly is the nicest thing that anyone has said to me, so far, today.
  6. They've made their Bedouin, now they have to lie about it.
  7. Incidentally, I just performed an inadvertent breach of the OTIB swear filter. If you open bracket then type the word "until", asterisks blot out the ( and the first three letters! I suppose it's obvious really, but it made me smile. I may be rude but I ain't that rude!
  8. All of your posts will hereafter be "liked" until I forget to do it or until you show signs of booing the board by proxy. Loved watching you on The Voice btw.
  9. Despite your "newbie" status @1982, you are now hereby conferred with the freedom of OTIB meaning that you have the ability to move around the board, reading and commenting upon any threads you like. This is an honour rarely bestowed but on this occasion it is fitting due to your role working in Britain's leading and very much loved (in many parts of Bristol and surrounding areas) supermarket chain. You will be feted wherever you visit. Welcome.
  10. Don't hit your head on the roof of the tent when you attempt this.
  11. WTF would you have expected them to say?
  12. Finally, a gashead who knows his place
  13. Of course, they are talking about a multi-use stadium but there's no rugby with which to share now. Perhaps they should consider speedway and greyhound racing?
  14. Certainly doesn't sound as though their multi-billionaire owner, nor his family, will be opening their own wallets to pay for a "world class" stadium to house the 6634. Deep pockets they may have, but evidently very short arms.
  15. I do recognise him but only as a Sky match summariser - I never realised he was a pro footballer. Wiki also states that he's a goalkeeping coach for the Nike Academy, whatever that is? I remember when it was compulsory for all former footballers to become publicans or postmen. How times change.
  16. I have never, ever heard of the former Wolves goalkeeper, Matt Murray but the fact that he had £1.6m to invest with McIndoe makes one realise how stupidly crazy are professional footballer salaries. I've just googled him - he played for Wolves for his entire career which ran from 1998-2010 during which time he amassed just 87 first team appearances, retiring due to injury aged 29. An average of just over 7 games per season.
  17. Freddie Eastwood still owed £275k for which he could buy a really, really nice caravan.
