Look we want clobber when we’re out with Mrs to look smart but we want to be recognised as city fans but we want it smart ie check shirts with a small crest on pocket - look at what people are wearing and it ain’t baggy hoodies with Bristol City wrote down arms

Think the club have missed a trick here and one that was fairly easy to fix as the basic designs are readilly available just need the crest added. Polo shirts seem to be the most popular to have a crest but cargo shorts (other than FC Bayern) and plain/checked shirts seem non existent for a crest . But a big plea if the club do ever produce a casual range No hawaiian shirts

Both with an average attendance of around 1500-2000 , hope they can pick up a few more if they go up 😳

Both have a ground capacity of c5500 and I do expect them to pick up a few more although in Bromley most of the locals support London PL teams as its only 20/30 mins on the train to central London.

I thought it was more than a little naughty that there was no mention of it in the season ticket media- which I would imagine is true for all the EFL clubs.

What do you expect them to say? The timings aren't published yet so it would only be a guesstimate. As previously stated our fanbase appear to be more informed than others on the subject and although we can only speculate on what might happen I suspect the  vast majority of our fans who were going to renew, did so knowing and in spite of the potential scheduling issues.

The kid needs to find a home, that's for sure. He's learning about levels at least.

Whilst it hasn't worked out for him here, he's only 19 so I wouldn't write him off. Like TC he's a Scottish U21 player and like TC has scored 1 goal for them . He came with a glowing pedigree and I'm sorry we haven't seen the 'skilfull forward with blistering pace' maybe we will at Stoke .

  5. The advantage to us with Twine is that he has already had game time here and knows the set up . If we look elsewhere then we may be paying a £M or so less but they will need time to bed in and I think next season we will have to hit the ground running, no slow burn

Sounds sensible to me, in the old days we would spend millions on players then never play them, bringing him in for not a lot to have a look at him seems like a good idea compared to what happened with engvall, szomdics et al.

I wonder what influence if any Tommy had in him coming here. After all they play together for Scotland U21s.

Perhaps looking for a new manager bounce and the momentum to firstly seal their playoff place, then secondly get up via winning the playoffs. Momentum to carry them up maybe the aim.

LJ likes a bounce and knows the club

Thought Manning said that he had scouted him extensively. Unfortunately the work experience analyst is still Head Coach.

Well if the reports that Tottenham, Club Bruge and PSV Eindhoven were keen to sign him are true, someone somewhere must have seen something in him. If the terms of his loan allowed I would have liked to see him play a couple of U21 games to acclimatise to our style of play and then include him in the first team. Thought there were a couple of good touches when he did come on. Would like him get a chance  Saturday to show why we signed him.

That squad was so well built.

    Formation and style established

    Signings made early

    Round pegs in round holes

    Mix of youth and experience

Manager who seemed excited to be at work

Maximum of one liability player (in this instance JET)

Agree with this apart from JET being a liability. Laid back yes, but liability no. Added that moment of magic to the team and helped out the team  when we had a number of injuries .

Because we are a ground now full of day trippers plus the game was crap and hardly surprising.

No the surprise was at the end. Another penalty!

Much easier to get on the bus if you leave early tbh

Well I got on the bus quite easily even after staying to the end . Likewise there were quite a few on the bus who didn't see the goal.

Is this turning into the worst race for the premiership ever,it’s almost comedy, none of them can win

They may be bottling it, BUT at least it's not predictable

I know what you mean about manning but give it a rest give credit where it’s due , perhaps it was how we played that made Blackburn play so poorly ,

only 2 weeks ago that this lot beat Sunderland 5 1 and then Sunderland go on to take a point at Leeds,

thought tonight was very decent performance, my biggest criticism with manning / team so far is the gulf in the inconsistencies of performance, when we have been good we have been pretty decent but on the flip side when we’re poor it’s pretty dire , we need to get somewhere in the middle

I'm no Manning apologist but it always amazes me that if we play well the opposition must be s**t or having an off night. Think the team deserve a lot of credit, 4 clean sheets and we stopped the opposition playing their game

I hope plans are being drawn up to give Rotherham a small section of the away end over by the Lansdown,  so we can give at least half the Atyeo to City fans.

Last games of the season are usually popular so we have a real opportunity to increase the attendance due to a very small away support.

It will be even more popular as its a designated family day all kids under 12 £1 (as is the Womens game on the Sunday against Man City)

Yeah not the most exciting of topics I know but possibly an option and of interest for those of us North of Bristol.

My mate had a leaflet out through the door from one of the local councillors that suggests conversations are fairly advanced for something running from the P&R - if successful they would also look at running similar for Bears and the blue quartered clowns.

    Text-

Join Claire Young's campaign to get a matchday special bus from Yate Park and Ride to Ashton Gate.

A resident Robin suggested this to Claire - and Claire followed it up: first with council officials and then with the Managing Director of First Bus. As a result ne has promised to work with the club to try to get it set up - without costing tax payers a penny. The plan would be to have a service you could book and pay for online. If it works then specials for the Bears, Rovers or other major events could be on the cards.

I would have liked one from Lyde Green P&R. Unlike Yate we don't have the train as an alternative & have to go to Brislington P&R
