I think we need a total overhaul with JL BT and LM all being replaced BT is good at Academy level but should be nowhere near the 1st team or Recruitment. We need a new CEO someone who knows about football and how a club is run successfully Not JL and BT learning on the job With these changes people might start taking SL seriously and back him by buying season tickets
I think its a pity that Richard Scudamore isn't involved .

The Youth stuff I'm absolutely happy with.
It is all the other stuff that is a big issue atm but there is a certain pride to seeing multiple young or not quite so young but still Academy based in and around the first team at a decent level.
But for all the bigging up of the youth set up, I still don't understand why we don't have them on the bench when we can't provide a full bench of first team subs. Other than playing that's the closest these young players can get to the first team and the warm up/match day experience home & away.

A lot of this is down to Nige!
I'm glad Nigel did get a mention/credit. He certainly worked hard not only bringing young players into the First team but encouraging the First team to go down to the HPC.

I think the way players are allowed to decide they're one nationality when playing youth football then suddenly switch to being another as an adult on the basis of a grandparent is a loophole that should be stopped. Play for England U21 and you remain English. Especially if you grew up in f-ing Luton.
So you'd deny someone the opportunity to play on the World stage ie The World Cup?

To play for Wales, aside from being a native, your parent or grandparents can be Welsh or failing that, you just have to have had a dump in one of the service stations on the Welsh stretch of the M4.
He probably qualifies on all 3

I looked at it a couple of months ago and we're one of the only clubs to regularly not fill the bench. I agree with you, it's absolutely bizarre to me, especially when we have a really good academy.
Why would you not give yourself the most options available?
Not sure why they didn't fill it with youngsters such as Adam Murphy to give them the experience of being inolved around the 1st team and what they can aspire to

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 24 years. Supported the club since age of 5 . First season was 76/77 (glory hunter)
I’ve done the blindly following no matter what , especially under the LJ years. It’s an age thing definitely as my favourite era was under TC . However im bored with it all under the lansdowns now . I’ve missed more games this season than ever before & look for reasons not to go now .
So , my question is .
Are you going today because it’s what you do.same as me , bored with it
still as enthusiastic as ever .
Theres no right or wrong , it’s how you feel . I’ll go to the Leicester game because a few of us are out after the game . Apart from that I’m done this season .
I really do hope we win today to take pressure off
Judging by the number in Wetherspoons quite a few

Weatherspoons serve alchohol from 9am in the week and 10am on a Sunday

This, I think Tommy would like to start alongside Nakhi and not instead of him.
I think you’ll find TC actually thinks highly of Nakhi from their time together in the under 21s with Nakhi as a role model
Seems to be a constant theme amongst the fans but somehow the management don't or choose not to see it, and will sub one for the other. Yes Nahki has slowed up but that's what Tommy is there for , and as Tommy said when NP was in charge they complement each other.

But you can't gamble on those challenges in the box any more.
Oh I totally agree. I was just disagreeing with the comment it was a blatant penalty.

Wasn’t anywhere near the ball. Blatant pen and a reckless one that.
Clearly got the ball first as the replays showed.

I’m in Emerson’s too EG Red and it’s fairly deep isn’t it. Buses running up and down Emerson way though.
I expect it’ll be on if it’s not as bad in south Bristol but not sure I fancy driving looking at the roads round here as it stands
Glad to hear buses are running in Emersons Way. Yes fairly deep on my side road but nothing compared to what I experienced when I lived in Kent where a shovel in the boot was a necessity in Winter.

Think the game will go on, but looking at the snow from my window in Emersons Green not so confident that the P&R from Brislington will be running

This is exactly why I don't consider it much to be a derby. I do not know a single Cardiff fan but know of tonnes of Rovers or Swindon where i'm from and they all are bitter towards us.
Quite a few Cardiff fans at my company and a lesser number of Swansea fans. Come to Bristol to work but live in either Newport or Cardiff as its cheaper.

It's with a heavy heart I have to announce one of footballs great showmen and entertainers from the 1970s Stan Bowles has died aged 75 from Alzheimer's, for those too young to remember him he was a true entertainer a cocky flamboyant player who sometimes did things that made it worth the admission price alone. RIP Stan. Stan Bowles: Former England and QPR forward dies aged 75 - BBC Sport
Exactly why he was used as the face of QPR in the TV adverts o

Jet was a proper maverick, outstanding on the ball, but bone idle without it. That said, he could always do something special, and made the games entertaining. Nobes and Trundle before him, Tomlin after him, we miss having that sort of player that can change a game with a flip of a coin.
No matter what sport fans love a maverick and JET was ours. Natural ability and got the fans out of their seats and he appreciated that. Always thought it was a shame that he kept us in when other players were injured but as soon as they were fit again he was unceremoniously dropped rather than them fight to regain their place.

It's funny really, Ipswich so far this season have been relatively injury free or light anyway.
Certainly set against us
The constant in this appears to be the pitch both at the HPC and Ashton Gate

Probably the same driver we've had previously after a night game

Singled out Sam Bell as I’ve given him a lot of stick recently, but the last 3 games I can’t fault the shift he’s putting in. Well done Sam!!
He looked gutted when he was subbed.

Because, for arguments sake, they get away with a handball in the box in game one and we don't get a penalty but in game 2 we commit a similar offence which is missed by the referee but given by VAR.
VAR has its uses but it's not a fair playing field for all those in the competition. It's possible to go a long way in the cup without encountering VAR whereas another team could be knocked out because of VAR. It should either be available to all or not at all or at least util the only teams left have VAR and of course for the final.
