He needed to be out of contract before the transfer window closed for Hull to have been able to register him to play before the next window opens.
That's not to say he won't travel down with the team and give them a few pointers.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if Plymouth had interest in Nigel Pearson
Not Nigel I believe he would want to sort out his health issues first, but I could see 'Colin' going there

Anyone know if this is planned to be televised, other than just highlights? as going to be out of the country
The overseas rights are the reason its 2pm on a Sunday afternoon so you should be OK

That’s not what actually happened Nogbad but that’s old history these days but you’re right about a junior aJohnson tho.
He shouldn’t have been anywhere near club. Shit player and shit manager.
He did at least bring Tammy to the club & without whom we would probably gave been relegated

Aerial duals won:
Blackburn 69%
City 34%
Hmmmmm.
I know you are trying to give more credit to City, but if Blackburn won 69% then City only won 31%

This is awful! Playing like strangers. Looking weak. If we have a tactic I don't see it.
We're playing so bad the commentator just called us Bristol Rovers.

In which case it is possible that he was a bad fit.
It's not really fair on Manning but I really don't see the fans being especially patient due to the context.
The booing on Sunday so soon into his reign is a bellwether. Time will tell but..
The only way or the best way in which he can buy time to gradually change the style is wins. He needs to win games and accumulate points at least at a reasonable rate. If not..
1.4 PPG.
To be fair some fans booed when Nigel was in charge. I didn't want Nigel to go and I worry that all the work Nigel did on and off the pitch will be overturned in a 'rebuild' rather than a 'build on' .

The one time people do want some garish tat with badly drawn robins on it and we don't do it, you couldn't make it up
Probably the only time we'd see a proper 'Christmas' Robin.

He always seemed a bit of an odd fit there, completely different in style to what they've been used to and the fans never took to him.
Fans are ecstatic he has gone. Now they are hoping his replacement isn't Nathan Jones.

Oh dear.
I do wish he hadn’t come out with that cod shit. Whatever you think of the football at times one thing Nige did superbly was create a positive culture through his man management.
This comment is absolute rubbish and really won’t land well with many.
I was starting to warm to him a bit at the Hen and Chicken forum as well!
Don't think that comment will go down well with players either. I believe the players respected Nigel and Liam needs to earn that respect not by trashing the previous manager but building on the work that Nigel started.

Certainly seems to be since Sykes & Weimann swopped. At least it shows Manning could see what we could .
Unfortunately the switch didn't last. Interesting to see which happens when they come back out.

Do you think there is a correlation between Sykes switching side and our goal.

Pompey fans very unhappy, Sags have allocated them 750 tickets for the boxing day clash, absolute tinpot and an embarrassment to Bristol .
Thought EFL rules stated 2,000 away fans or 10% if capacity less than 20,000.

My choice is Conway & Wells. I like Harry, but I'd rather he started a game than come on as a sub, when his heart rules his head

Same for us. We should be in Southampton by now, but only just left Warminster. Expected arrival in Southampton about 6.30. The only saving factor is you can claim your money back. (50% if a return ticket)

So the club talks about sustainability then sends Scott to shop at Sainsbury's? Why aren't we using Aldi or Lidl so we can build up a shopping nest egg?
Someone should be sacked for this disgrace. Though not the person actually responsible obviously.
But don't forget what you can do with all those Nectar points

Who do you suggest? Keith Stroud? Or perhaps one of the number of other useless Championship referees we have seen at AG over the last few years. It’s not like the footballers, where there is a division you can watch and say that those particular referees are so much better than others elsewhere. They all seem capable of making some real howlers, it’s just that at the very top level they have VAR to help them out.
Keith Stroud refereed the West Ham v Aston Villa game today . Finished 2-3.

Spot on.
The Atyeo was done back in 1994, this is just a smaller, shitter version of that stand.
Someone tell them over the river that John Major isn’t Prime Minister now & East 17 have spilt up.
Albeit with only one original founding member- Terry Coldwell, East 17 still exist

Agree with you on Weimann, consistently underwhelming. Worked hard today chasing and closing down, but never provided any real linkage from m/f to attack - something Knight does. OOC end of the season and for me, should be released.
Wells however, has better movement and more ability to hold the ball and bring others into play, than any of our other forwards. Also brings out the best in Conway. In contract to end of next season and I for one, hope he is fit to return to action soon.
As Nigel Pearson remarked on more than one occasion. With Nahki dont just look at the goals he's scored (or should have scored) but look at and appreciate his overall contribution to the team

Nice to have him back, although there was the heart in the mouth moment. It raised the crowd who had been singing his name for some time before he came on. It would have been nice to see him reunited with Tommy, but his overall game play was just what we needed at the time. However and its only a minor gripe I do wish his name would be spelt correctly its Nahki not Nakhi
