@JerrySLO I suggest that the website is taken down at the earliest opportunity until this major issue is sorted

My mate at Preston is concerned that they don't have many players! Bet they still beat us though
Think they've now made some decent signings ,Layton Stewart from Liverpool and Mads Frokjaer Jenson. With possibly Tom Cannon returning on loan, I see them giving us a good competitive workout 1-1

Without wanting to sound rude, assume people don't have to live within a 5 mile radius of their ground to support them
People do move around in life
I moved from London

Plenty of Londoners have moved out to Swindon. Doesn't mean they have lost the love for their original hometown club. More likely to find Plastic Man Utd fans in London than plastic Londoners in Swindon.

Probably around the time the Authorities started looking into it.
Barton got an 18 month ban in 2017 which probably put wind up a lot of players and they stopped the betting..
I wonder how many other players the FA are pursing from this period.

Can't disagree that its a crap game so far - and so different from what England have produced in this tournament.
Doesn't help that the two centre backs have a bad habit of slowly walking out with the ball and stopping more often than that.
Yes produced much better leading to this. Hopefully the offside goal for Spain will be a wake up call

Aren't away tickets in the Prem capped at £30 - or did that not carry on.?
Yes until 2025. The £30 cap for away games first established in 2016/7 season was reviewed in 2022 where it was agreed it would carry on for the next 3 seasons

Shocking pen.
Interesting that Israel have had 3 penalties awarded against them this tournament and none have been converted.

Is there any channel showing the game?
On uefa.com and audio on Talksport2

After the debacle in the Italy v France match where a number of significant issues were missed, it is highly likely that for the quarter finals VAR will be introduced.
VAR is going to be used in the quarter final

Isn’t that from 24/25 John?
Hopefully by then it won't be a problem for us, and we'll be able to watch some of our away games if we can't travel.

Please stop starting new threads @shahanshahan as I have to keep ignoring them.
Just have one women's England team thread as you do one women's Bristol City team thread and put them all on that one.
I wouldn't say that you are the only one interested in this but it often seems like it.
Don't bother to reply as I am just about to Ignore this thread as I have to do for all of your threads and AFAIK there is no Unignore function so I won't see it.
So we will just have one England's men teams thread shall we? So you have to ignore the thread, OTIB should be inclusive . There are plenty of threads I ignore on OTIB and that's what I do, not comment on the fact I ignore them.

The only thing that makes me nervous about device based ticketing, paying, apps etc is that few people carry cash these days, and with a digital wallet you have a single point of failure. Lose your phone, forget to charge you phone, forget your phone...
Which is why I still keep a couple of notes on me, a wallet with cards in it and a phone with the apps.
Happy to embrace the technology, just like alternatives.
Which is why I always have a Paper backup.

Going well so far for England , the only team yet to concede. Interesting in Group A where Georgia top the group above Portugal Netherlands and Belgium.

For all his faults and he often flaters to deceive , he did sign some good players. Adam Matthews,, Josh Brownhill and managed to convince Tammy to join us for a season, so something obviously did/does work

Great game……Ross C could have snatched it at the end
Could go onto win it now although Partick Thistle have the advantage of having substitutions available.

Partick Thistle cruising to promotion after the first leg and a goal today but 2 goals in 80 seconds mean Ross County are back in it.

I think that was a huge part in him going there, wants European football on his CV. No matter if it's a minnow side in the competition.
Well it's still Europe and that's what his CV will say

I like to visit some of the older grounds, it reinforces how lucky we are to have Ashton Gate and its facilities (apart from the club shop)
