I'm surprised they don't restrict how seats are booked in the family bit specifically to stop this I.e. you can't select seats which leave a 1 seat gap.with others.  I've been to gigs where that was the case as they don't want single seats left in the middle of rows

I've seen it at some sporting events as well.

When you sign the likes of Chris Martin on as a free agent and then have to play him from the start as your target front man for the full 90…..You’re f#cked.

    Well at least he scored

I think I'm right in saying that they've scored the most from corners in the division.

We defended the set pieces against Norwich very well, so more of the same needed.

Nige is impressive and the kinda of guy I’d want to be alongside the trenches. He’s a natural leader and well respected wherever he’s been. I like the way he communicates, open and candid and within 18 months he’s got the entire club adopting a positive attitude and recent form shows that he’s got the team playing well.

and as he said for the fans as much as the players themselves a 'team to be proud of'.

I don’t get the partisan nature of posts like this and the lack of respect for a well crafted opinion. Simply pointing to ‘performances’ is just as easy as pointing to results. Many teams have had poor seasons and have been relegated with a whole bunch of good performances. It’s always more nuanced than that. There were long-stay problems that were persisting and had been there from the day he walked in, an inability to hold onto leads, consistently poor substitutions, strange positional choices, one dimensional football and a lack of tactical impact during games. All culminating in a downward trend which saw fractured relationships between manager and fans.

It’s not just the formation that has changed, going on what is available to us it seems NP’s approach has too. Far more positive, a forward looking persona focused on installing confidence in players, and (less importantly) much more sincere and thankful when speaking about the fans. He is sure of himself, certainly, but he has clearly taken criticism on board too and that is an incredibly commendable trait from such an experienced individual. Pearson is extremely aware of what is said despite the fact he may present otherwise.

We seem to have turned a corner which is fantastic, but why is there such intolerance to the fact that there were differing opinions to yours during a period that saw us drop closer to the relegation zone than we’d been in Pearson’s entire tenure?

There are always differing opinions on managers, that’s football and it will forever be so. I’m just glad it’s coming together.

I think it's no longer a case of them and us but as you say a whole coming together. The fans the team the staff are all playing their part. Long may it continue.

In tonight’s meagre coverage the match was described as being “low in quality”. That’s not the match I watched

On the flip side under the radar just as I like it, and no mention of Alex

Thought he had a very good game, positive at claiming the ball & when to choose to punch.

His kicking did get worse as the game progressed & two particularly poor ones weren’t when he was really under pressure, but I’d take a keeper who looks secure but is struggling with his kicking over the reverse, any day.

Thought he'd got that out of his system so was surprised that it started to return as the game progressed. However seems to be more assured at collecting the ball and not punching it away.

Pearson has already said they’ll get him fitter, so obviously they think he needs to improve! But he did look a little laboured! ?

Think at the moment until he's fitter it's all about getting those minutes into him.

That would be a shame imo, Wells has to be our first striker on the team sheet, for me it's no co-incidence that he (and first Conway, now Bell) have started closing down at the top - just like Bobby and Jamie did in our last successful year.

We know Weimann can also do this - I hope Cornick has something extra in his tool box?

It's the work that Wells does but not necessarily scoring the goals that has helped our overall performance so I agree it would be a shame if he is dropped . I prefer him as a starter and be subbed on the hour mark rather than be the one to come on.

Yes when i click on my reserved seat there isnt anything there!

Same for me Luckily my son had bought the tickets for Sunderland on his account and both showed on his account for this game. Not sure why as the accounts are linked to each other and I haven't had an issue booking before from my account.

Just imagine that = 87 points

That's the average number of points for 2nd place.

I think we will get 67 which coincidently is the number of points Leicester got under NP in the 2012-13 season to finish 6th and in the playoffs. Although I don't see such a low number making the playoffs this time. I'd just like a strong finish with a positive GD.

See your point mate, but there's an important distinction IMO:

    • It's exciting to compete with top 6 teams.
    • It's not exciting to be battered by a top 6 team.

I'm very excited about the idea of becoming a top half premier league team a la Brighton, who can compete with such clubs.

I hate the idea of being hammered 6-0 on live TV.

In other words, it's the idea of becoming a club who can compete with the very best which is exciting, not the act of simply playing these clubs.

Last time out it was 2-3. Certainly NOT a 6-0 thrashing. Play like we did on Saturday and I think we've got a great chance.

We were expecting the Messiah but he just turned out be a naughty little boy.

Cool hair, plenty of energy but ultimately a very average player who can tackle a bit but his passing is hit and miss and he can't shoot at all.

    Bonne Chance a l'avenir!

Good luck to him. He's only 21 so still has plenty of time ahead of him to deliver what unfortunately for whatever reason he couldn't for us. I enjoyed his endeavours just a shame about the lack of goals. Think a goal would have made all the difference.
