Not sure how official and confirmed this is....
Well he's playing in the charity game at Yeovil today, so perhaps it will be officially announced then ( unless of course there is another job North if the border. )

Fingers crossed they are another alex Scott.
Think fans are more interested in the retained list then two young uns who probably wont feature for a couple of years at least
If the comments from the Guernsey coach regarding Ben & Alex are anything to go by, I can see Ben featuring in the U23s next season.

Hmmm I mean I agree to a certain extent but they are bottom of the league for a reason, maybe they would have achieved it anyway.
Yes shipping 83 goal is a disaster waiting to happen.

City will be full of confidence after the 5-0 thrashing of Hull City and Huddersfield are safe in the pray offs and will want to avoid injuries - I can see a City away win.
Be a nice way to end the campaign having had such a frustrating season.
Also Nigel has too much integrity not to go all out for a win. Whilst the result for us means nothing in terms of league position it does for those in the playoffs/vying for a play off position.

It`s still not showing as a red button game (none of the fixtures are) but do we know if it`s on Robins TV? It`s only showing the audio pass as available.
It's on SKY Red Button

But if results go their way, if they win they could finish 3rd and will be positive going into the playoffs.

I suppose my worry is that it`s VAR coming to the Championship by the back door. Drip feed it in and before long we`ll all have to have it.
How many penalties would we have been awarded if it had been in the Championship this season?

Would quite like to see a Yellow and Green away number this year coming
I always think the away shirt is where you can be more imaginative and go outside the normal set of colours. Teal and white would be good. As it would stand out like the purple & lime did for us.

It’s a boxing song really. Would be a terrible choice, works at boxing but it’s lazy to think there’s some one size fits all approach to these things.
Started off in sport by being used for Baseball .

Think Towler is still coming back from injury, he hasn’t featured for the 23s & he is young enough to do so.
Pearson doesn’t exactly shower players with compliments but said he expects Towler to be a first team squad player next season.
That's probably as close a compliment Towler will get. He's back playing for the U23s so I expect him to finish the U23 season strongly and then be in or around the 1st feam next season

Introduction of a 10 min sin bin, rather than an immediate 2nd yellow., and any indiscretions after that then the 2nd yellow issued. May make a player less wary of going in for a 50:50 ball .

From a few things I've heard, there were rumours that the shop would be bigger when the Basketball stadium is built. It would involve all the teams linked with Bristol Sport.
The shop they had in Broadmead must have cost a fortune to rent, and while it would have a lot of passing custom, who would actually go in that wouldn't go to games ? It obviously didn't make financial sense back then, though I would say times have changed .
What I would also say, there is no point having a nice shop if you don't have a decent range to sell in it.
I don't wear replica shirts, and being of a certain age I don't want a massive Robin on the back of a shirt/coat/jacket/top .
As I've said, some subtle Tees with just the crest on it , stitched in would be great . It wouldn't make a difference who makes our playing kit, just a basic design that is always there as a staple.I don't understand, unless they are biding their time until the new build is done, why there is so little choice. One spotty Teen (Spots not a deal breaker ) on a laptop could check other teams sites for ideas, it's not rocket science.
As Lansdown is a business man, it is madness they are ignoring a potentially large income source. All they need to do is look at what fans of the big P/L teams are wearing (so obviously what sells) and replicate that for Bristol City. Its not rocket science you can see Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool branded clothing on the streets of Bristol every day.

Today
Salford City V Mansfield Town
Port Vale V Newport County
Saturday
Barrow V Northampton Town
Bradford City V Carlisle United
V Scunthorpe United
Exeter City V Port Vale
Harrogate Town V Sutton United
Leyton Orient V Tranmere Rovers
Mansfield Town V Forest Green Rovers
Walsall V Swindon Town
Ignoring how everyone wants the Squatters to miss out, obviously. Saturday could be interesting
4 teams going for the last auto spot.
Realistically 4 teams going for the last Playoff spot ( Port Vale's GD should see them safely in)I remember when Holloway managed to get them to fall apart, from looking like coasting to promotion, to missing the Playoffs. I wonder if the WifeBeater can do the
Yes and if Port Vale do it. It will be their old manager come back to haunt them Shame that their captain Tom Conlan is out after achilles surgery.

Certainly sounds like he intends to be here at least another year.
Hopefully has a good summer with the U19s then can look to push on for an U21 call up next season.
I think with Ben Acey joining in the summer from Guernsey he will stay at least next season. (Although Ben is joining the U23s I expect him if reports on his ability are to be believed to be in and around the first team sooner rather than later)

These two elements were what stood out for me today. We actually passed the ball with a purpose, a bit of zip to it. Far to often the passing is so slow, where as today we passed it with the belief that the recipient could handle the ball. It stops the other team from being able to get back into shape etc & pulls them about. That coupled with the much better & more fluent movement was exactly what I want to be watching from City. Energy & purpose, was great to watch. Possibly didn’t need its own topic, but it’s just nice to see so many positives! COYR
Totally agree , its been frustrating at times this season with wayward misjointed passing leading to nothing. Interesting though that the possession stats today were 50:50

I have this feeling Leeds are going to go down. More injures today as well.
I think Leeds went into today's game on the misconception that they were safe.

Only three teams in the division who have scored more goals than us this season, and they are in the top three positions.
Unfortunately we're second to Peterborough in the number of goals conceded. Most pleasing for me was that we kept a clean sheet .
