  1. It was Williams' best assist since the sliced topspin pass to Weimann, for his volleyed winner at Ewood last season.
  2. It was a carbon copy of the foul my United's Martinez on Brighton's Danny Welbeck at Old Trafford in the first game of the season. Both penalties.
  3. At the risk of opening an event horizon and being consumed in the fires of hell.....could Antoine come in for Andi? Andi hasn't looked the sharpest in the last few games and Antoine could play a similar 10 role, but with a more powerful punch - if he can tweak that first touch. "Is the getaway car ready, driver?"
  4. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Now, if he was the Watford manager....
  5. Shame, because for the majority of that game we bossed Norwich. Alex Scott superb again, orchestrating midfield and making lung busting runs to defend. Its going to be a very entertaining season people. Lots to look forward to. Just need to cut out the defensive errors (again). City's desire is incredible.
  6. Williams best assist since Blackburn last season. A triple salco with pike!
  7. Ping, ping, Penalty? No its Semen-yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
  8. I keep thinking that Kal has made a Faustian bargain. Bloody scary at both ends of the pitch!
  9. In open play City have been excellent, exploiting huge swathes of space on each flank, with Sykes terrifying Byram and McLean, whilst Cantwell is having his roots done. Two poor goals conceded, but, hey, sod it, lets give the ball to Sykes and go for it! COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. YES. Bloody YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! CON-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
  11. I don't care what the result is.................................................................as long as we win!
  12. David Wagner's name the elephant in the room in Huddersfield Town manager hunt The promotion-winning boss is currently out of work after being relieved of his duties by Swiss side Young Boys earlier this year and supporters are yearning for his return The rumours inevitably started the moment his presence at the West Bromwich Albion game was announced. It was always going to happen: with David Wagner out of work, the side in poor form and sufficient time passed since his departure from Huddersfield Town in January 2019, all it needed was any hint that he still holds some affection for the club to light the touchpaper of nostalgic hope. The suggestions that sprung up after that game that a deal had already been agreed to replace Danny Schofield with Wagner were nonsense then and remain so now, of course, but now the former has been sacked the yearning for the German-American to return is only going to intensify. Town are being tight-lipped about their shortlist, though work to bring in a new boss is of course already under way. In many ways, though, Wagner would be the ideal option: he is very likely to be respected by the players despite only Jonathan Hogg remaining from his time in charge; he already fits in with their style of play; he has proven he can get a team to dramatically over-perform in the Championship; and he is so enormously popular with the fans that it would be a huge PR win for the club at a time when they need it most. There are arguments to the contrary too, of course. Going back for a second spell rarely works out (though of course Town fans would point to Peter Jackson in response to that), and Wagner’s track record since leaving Town is… not terribly good, shall we say. There’s also no guarantee he would want to come back, more to the point.

  14. He still can't get the chilli s a u c e stains out of the grey kit.
  15. What! The rectangular bay and multiple estuary at the north-west corner of East Anglia on the East coast of England, where Norfolk meets Lincolnshire and both border the North Sea?
  16. NTTDS is a Bristol City treasure and should be treated as such.
  17. I'm sorry, but I can take the 72 hour pub crawl and the inevitable hangers on asking to be directed to the Lansdown Stand box seats. But what about VAR? It takes 10 minutes to celebrate a goal!!!
  18. What are the Lottery Numbers for Wednesday's draw?
  19. ? ‘We’ll need to be at our best’ - Pearson | Bristol City (bcfc.co.uk) Referring to Saturday's postponement. "It would have been a fantastic opportunity for us to have continued our good form, and for our fans to have celebrated the life of our monarch." "I think it would have been brilliant to have had the national anthem ringing around Ashton Gate."
