  1. Quote from over there - He’s not wrong they are 2 completely different characters SL isn’t a fraud for a start.

‘But our situation is more complicated. Ashton is a dump, you could do what you want down there and no one will object, The Mem is a far more challenging site for lots of reasons. And landsdown is an individual happy to waste his money, whatever you think of the Al Qadis they are very different characters.’

Didn’t we also have ‘don’t forget how many were in the home end and in the boxes’ when they were challenged about official numbers being at odds with theirs?

Not quite, they just decided that everyone who bought tickets in the neutral section we’re all gasheads

That’s the point! People hate the competition and are letting people know it.

They should be applauded for that (not the result, that was hilarious) but can’t people get it into their heads that the low crowds are intentional?

It really isn’t difficult to understand.

Apologies if I’m coming across as a Gas sympathiser but if we take the piss out of the 1% where they don’t deserve it then it undervalues the 99% when they do.

They’d all turn up at Wembley though if they got there.

I genuinely think they will get sold again to someone else.

When that happens the same assortment of Gas belters, whoppers and numbskulls will be back on Social Media shouting about how rich they are, outspending Lansdown, “Shitheads, we’re comin fer you” etc. because they never learn.

Question is, who the **** would want to buy that shower?

Darrell Clarke recently pointed out that there is not a great deal of difference between top half of League Two and mid table League One, whereas the gulf between League One and Championship is far greater.  I think that our more level headed fans are aware of this too.

Did he say that before or after Notts County dumped you out?

Oh Gaschat - how I love thee..

"In the time the Al-Qadis have owned BRFC, Lansdown has rebuilt Ashton Gate, invested in quality players and as a result City are competing for promotion to the Premier League.
Simultaneously, Wael has destroyed the last hope (UWE) of Rovers competing with them .. oh, and erected a small tent.
But he stands with the faithful on the terraces now and again, so he must be a good bloke."

    :rofl2br:

Well I never! A gashead that knows what he’s talking about.

Nothing to see here. It's an entirely truthful and correct statement from the 15ers (for once). Notts County ARE in a fine vein of form at present and the televised first round game (between Hyde United and MK Dons) will no doubt entertain the audience.

Perhaps someone played another hoax on them.

But have they really put any money into the club ? They paid some of the previous stakeholders Higgs etc - but how much ? Higgs was about to lose everything as all lines of credit had been used up to the point they needed Wonga loans. They may have got the club for very little. The outlay has been, well contracts and they are obviously paid over the length of the contract e.g. Darrell over 5 years, all the new staff etc being paid monthly. We know they had their season tickets cash injected at the beginning  of the season, so how much money have they actually put in ? The land at the colony was cheap and probably worth more than they paid (maybe why it's been put into a separate company so they can keep it if the club goes under). But other than consultants, legal costs they cannot have spend much. The disabled "Stand" was paid for by supporters, I cannot see what they have actually bought/paid for/invested other than the Europa league ready sprinklers.

Don’t forget the spanking new canopy mate. Must of set them back atleast £100.
