The more I listen to GT the more respect I have for him as an interviewer.
Everyone reading this thread should listen to the Wally interview
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06frc2m
It starts about 4:20 minutes in and lasts about 15 mins
He is the quiet assassin and to miss quote Billy Joel, “he carelessly cuts you and laughs while you’re bleeding”
Geof asks all the questions all Sags want answering and surprise, surprise, not one was answered.
GT reveals what a complete fraud Wally is and is so nice about it that Wally is oblivious to the fact that he is being exposed as a complete fraud and Walter Mitty, as we all suspected from day one.
I have just listened to the interview and all I can say is Wael is so full of BS that it's hard not to stop laughing. How gasheads cannot see through his waffle and lack of commitment defeats me. The guy is a chancer, he has no plan for a ground, the training ground explanation sounds a farce and the "projects" to improve the match day experience which some are overdue just about sums him up. A match made in heaven him and ragbag Rovers
Will look forward to seeing them train at Eastville park next year. They are heading nowhere fast regards redeveloping the Mem or getting a new ground that is pretty obvious and will be in a relegation scrap this season
Wael is a fraud and we all know that, they are in deep S**t and before long will be in administration once the loan runs out and then Wael will be off

Great to have a win and grateful for the 3 points but don't lets kid ourselves that was 2 less than average teams out there tonight and we looked exactly what we have morphed into, a team that has totally run out of ideas and sadly lacking any midfield quality.
Kelly although naive at times looks like the senior player and Bryan looks like the novice (yes I know he is not a right back but he has looked like this for a while now), Baker looks as though he has already settled for an early holiday to me and has lost interest.
Midfield was weak and poor, you have to admire Brownhill's energy and endeavour but Smith is inexplicably out of form and Pack although he scored with a great free kick drifted out of the game during the 2nd half and Diedhiou and Djuric really lack quality for me.
Again can't fault Reid and Taylor proved what most people already knew put the ball in the right areas and he will score, pity it's taken over a year to work that out.
I will take the 3 points all day long but we desperately need some quality in the summer boy do we need it.
Spot on!
Thought we would mess up again tonight especially when they got one back.
All we can hope for is tonight's result has given back some belief. Wouldn't be surprised if we replicate the same tactics for the last 4 games. More direct and win second balls and try as put as many balls in the box as possible and see what happens. It's about winning now and not pretty football!!

..the stadium holds 11,000 (yeah I i know with 100,000 locked outside- you lot are predictable)...the owners are not going to build a new stadium, we all know that, in fact buggered if I know why they bothered in the first place- 9,000 is still a good crowd in the lower divisions and will be looking at yours next season when you are lower/mid in the championship...it is what it is- we ain't going away- your billionnaire isn't going to buy your way into the premiership or there would be signs of that already...
Well we averaged 20k last season and finished in bottom third so don’t worry about us sunshine as we are just fine. Worry about yourself and if you will have s club to support once the Messiah has asset stripped your club and buggers off back to Jordan
Just a reminder, we are still in the running for top six so anything is still possible and I am sure you lot would love to see us promoted to the Prem and us get stuffed every week because that’s all you live for

Alternatively .... he could just play really well and show how our academy is producing outstanding players for our future first team. Vyner and Kelly are surely two great stories this season along with the revelation of Bobby Reid.
Far too boring!!!

If we can keep any cracks papered over for another 11 games that’ll do me.
8 more 1-0 wins and playing dire is fine by me, looking at Derby & Boro’s run in I still fancy us to sneak in there

Just whisper to their players “Mind the gap” and give their fans the finger when you score in front of them
-
How the **** is that not a red for that foul on bobby?
No different to Baker if not worse coming through him from behind

Very quiet inside Elland Road???

Not a bad point and stops the run of losses

From the sound of things I'd take off Bryan not Mags. Or Pato.
Think your right regards JB, LJ may drop him back and brink Kent on. Also think it’s crying out for Fam up front as they’re winning everything that’s played up to Bobby

Atmosphere is a bit flat

I’m fairly bullish about tonight, they struggled against us in the last game and couldn’t handle our passing, movement and pace. I fancy us to do a job on them tonight and think a certain Ryan Kent may play a starring role in a 3-1 win for us

Atmosphere on Wednesday night will be a lot different, nothing to lose and everything to gain
No pressure to get 3 points, just go out there and give it your all and see what happens as the fans will be as loud as ever

That was the most cringeworthy interview I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t make it to the end. It was like watching a child trying to explain why he hadn’t done his homework.
Bemused and embarrassed if I was a Sag but i’m not thank goodness. Let’s just bathe in the progress we are making both on & off the pitch

Let's face it, hitting the bar etc etc or no we stuck in there, got it right in the latter stages and that asault on Korey alone deserved them to lose the game. Really nasty "tackle" and all because they were getting niggly about Milan winning some balls up front. Sheff U are wankahs always have been..
PS loved the manager's interview awwwwwww high boot by Josh wot a knob
I always thought that the ball had to cross the line in between those goal post things to score a goal and we scored two and they scored one so we won or do you get extra points for hitting the bar or post?
They are obviously bitter at losing to a close rival but their managers comments post match and their fans deserve to lose if that’s the way they carry on

How on earth does a defender score 20 goals in a season? Had to google that, couldn't believe my ears.
Right place right time, one of those with a knack for it

Awful challenge and Corey could be out for a while now
hope we go and hammer them now especially their fans calling Corey a cheat, lucky he didn’t break his leg
