Good win. And another penalty! We were the better side, albeit lacking spark up front at times. Hull looked very average and struggled when we pressed them, which we didn’t do enough. We saw the game out very well at the end. The only time we were really under pressure was just after our goal. And lastly I much prefer the new kit.

We started brightly, had a few good bits of attacking play, but our final ball hasn’t been good enough and there’s been no cutting edge. We’ve also given them too much space. The 3 points are there to be won, but we have to be more aggressive in the final third.

There are usually a couple of away fans in the Hen and Chicken. And like @mattjbsaid, the Cottage usually has a mix of fans. And on a nice day it’s a great place to have a few beers outside, right by the river with the view of the Suspension Bridge. Ashton Gate is in a great location for nearby pubs.

Really sad to hear of his death. Another giant from my childhood has gone. RIP

Yep, it annoys me too when the highlights cut out important moments like those. Especially when other things are included, like one of our crosses being headed clear in the first half last night. Nice skill from Cornick in the build up, but not really a key moment in the game.
