No. Just ask Joe James, Jamie Knight-Lebel and Ephraim Yeboah what they’d prefer. A chorus of boos, or a cheering home crowd?
They’d probably prefer not to have their gaffer sacked in the first place.

Surely it was Tinnion last week that suggested King shouldn't be in the team. There hasn't been much heard from Tinnion since the summer and his plan A and plan B comments.
Lost some respect for him when he pretended that Knight was to play alongside Scott, then 360’d to say he was to replace Scott.

Could do one for Nige? And ideally an Anti-Lansdown one. Will contribute.

I’m going, as I’ve bought the ticket already (if I hadn’t I wouldn’t of gone). But I’m not eating or drinking at the ground.
Plenty of anti Lansdown chants please. Could section 82 do a banner?

I am fuming at this. It doesn’t make any sense.
The Lansdowns are under more criticism than ever before, whilst Nigel was well loved by fans. There was no need to sack him, all it’s done is stoke the fire.
Who is actually advising them that we could achieve promotion with this squad? How are they that deluded?
I was expecting progression this season, and that’s what we’ve seen. A young squad whose been hampered by injuries, but on the right track.
Now we have a whole fan base fuming with the board (do we even have a board anymore?), no manager, no CEO, no communication. It’s a real shambles.

At this point, should we take a look at the free agents market, at least for a defender, or should we resist until some players are back/until January comes?
Absolutely not. They haven’t played since May, won’t be anywhere near match fit for weeks. Pointless.

Personally think he could do with a league one loan in Jan, build his confidence up.

Most ex player threads are named in the title, it’s not hard to ignore them and move past.
More likely means I’ll miss threads on ex players now, which is disappointing as someone whose interested in that sort of thing.
Poor move imo.

Tributes have flooded in for the The Windsors and Drop the Dead Donkey actress Haydn Gwynne, who has died aged 66.
Shocked. She was meant to be in a Sondheim concert at the moment, only pulled out a few weeks ago. Awfully sad.

Well it’s all about opinions & I like Sykes although he often doesn’t support the full back but does offer more in an attacking role. As for creativity’s I can’t see how he is anywhere near the level of TGH in terms of his passing range or dead ball delivery… as I say just my opinion.
Dead ball delivery can be taken as a RB or a CM. That doesn't matter.

How about Sykes as RB & TGH to give some creativity in midfield would be my only variation to the consensus of most of those above (based on worst case scenario) ?
I’d argue Sykes gives more creativity than TGH.

Knight, Naismith, Wells, Tanner all out. Going to be a TOUGH game.

Horrible away game. Awful ground.
I also work around the corner, so I'm fuming it's not a mid week game when I'm in the office!

For me it isn’t hindsight, Bournemouth were never a good choice. I understand the draw of the PL, both in terms of money, the chance to play at the highest level , and the opportunity of exposure, however Scott is good enough to go to a better club than Bournemouth who at present are at best a yo-yo club.
Two things. If Scott is better than Bournemouth, why did no other teams come in for him?
Also how are Bournemouth a Yo-Yo club? They got to the Prem in 2015 and haven't been down since....

Lets be honest, £45 for a train is ridiculous. Our countries public transport costs are outrageous.

I think selred is referring to playing Gillingham 5 times, and not Rovers.
Oh sorry, yes!

Proof if proof were needed.
Amazing to think that is the last time we played them in a league game at Ashton Gate
Mind the Gap
We played the 5 times in 14-15. Twice in league, 3 times in cup games.

Lots of images of Weimann on our pre game comms. Not sure where he’d fit in, personally I’d keep the midfield 3 the same, if Andi was to come in I’d probably play him over Wells.

Maybe that's why you're not a manager then.
I’m not sure my opinions on 3rd or 4th choice keepers is keeping me back from being a championship manager… I think a lot more is to be honest!

How many games had Maenpaa played in the few seasons before he joined us?
