Barry Bannan would get in a lot of people's top 10 Championship midfielders let alone League 1.
A lot of incorrect people then if so! As has been said, maybe 5 years ago!

EFL League One Player of the Season, Sponsored by Sky Bet
Aaron Collins – Bristol Rovers
Jonson Clarke-Harris – Peterborough United
Barry Bannan – Sheffield Wednesday
I’d honestly take none of these, even on a free, is that seriously the best of League One???

Surprised anyone cares this time of the season, easy for me to say but I’m happy for Barton to stay there, drags their name further through the mud, give them a few wins.

It's not though due to human nature naturally levelling the decisions
I don’t really know what you mean but 5/5 50/50 decisions going one way is (1/2)^5. All I know is it’s not statistically impossible & those odds are somewhat common. Might’ve got the wrong end of the stick here.

The chances of 5 mix of subjective and non subjective decisions going to one team is almost statistically impossibly
It’s actually very possible (1/32 or 3%)

BORING. On ignore and still ruins threads. Provides nothing, antagonises intentionally, not even the excuse of being a child, mute please.

Must be a minimum of 6,000 pay on the day, great considering rovers get about 6,500 home fans actually attending games.

To be fair to him, he is just trying to help somebody to try and better themselves.
Regardless of what you think of him, and what he has done, or not done, he is a role model to some, and should his words/advice help just a few then, Well, I think that is a good thing.
Empty words, absolute jargon, the type of thing people with surface level knowledge say as they don’t understand the substance. If it helps then yeah I guess that’s good, but anyone that can think deeper than catchphrases.. it’s ridiculous.

I think culture has changed - smoking ban for one has changed the environment of a pub, they all need to offer some sort of food service as side revenue and really I think covid was the final nail with many people realising that they can buy a 12 pack of cans for less than couple of pints down the pub.
Pub used to be an escape from the wife, now us younguns just don’t get married, beers round our houses whenever we fancy it. As you say, a 5th of the price, + with the internet we get to pick our own music, tv etc etc

Ive had a much more embarrassing, thing happen to me in a pub with a machine, I put the coins in the machine in the toilets, nothing came out, I discretely beckoned the barman over and explained my situation, in a really loud voice, so the twenty or so people and my date could hear he shouted the bloke who fills up the condom machine comes on a Wednesday, thanks a lot cupid I thought

I personally hate that. May be just me.
Getting the opposition booked for obstruction(?) or intentionally kicking it to get the other player booked?

1)I am quite happy to have midday kick offs to places like Middlesbrough Sunderland and Hull
Would much prefer to have had a good nights sleep for a four/five hour journey to the North
and at least two hour daylight journey back home.
2)My thoughts are that radio commentaries will suffer,
who would wanna listen to a match when you could watch it.
Same way that cup final radio commentaries were on Long play records on vinyl at 33 and a third,
until the Video recorder arrived circa 1979
They will, but you move with the times as you’ve pointed out

Had an ex mrs when I was a 17/18, lovely girl, she made a new friend that was a Yeovil fan, started taking her up clubbing more and more, leading her astray. Ended up breaking up with the girl and hated her mate / Yeovil because of it.
Funny really, I hold absolutely nothing against the girl now, we were kids, I’d be a fool to be resentful. The dislike of Yeovil though, I’ve never managed to shake that.

Always loved Korey making the most of this, whenever I player would stand in front the ball, he’d just kick in in to them even if a ball wasn’t on, and then start going mad at the red, often getting a yellow for their player. Don’t know why we don’t do it more.

Always liked Plymouth, late 20s for context, passionate well supported team. Whenever we’ve had cup games I’ve had a nose on their forums and always seem pretty grounded and knowledgeable, bar a few but that’s the same everywhere.
Can’t say I feel any rivalry but again maybe that’s an age thing, without sounding patronising (he says as he’s about to be patronising), I’m sure if they had been above us for x amount of years a fair few of our fans would be hostile when we played them.
