  1. Leaving the forum because of criticism is a snowflake attitude Harvey - a bit like cutting on your nose off to spite your face. I suggest that you ‘man up’.
  2. Arteta was Peps number two for a few seasons and he’d have know exactly how City would set up and try to play. The game a draw written all over it and I regret not putting a few quid on Liverpool to win and Arsenal to draw. Not sure what odds the double would have been but it being Easter Sunday I thought the bookies would be shut.
  3. Well…..according to Manning it’ll be all about ‘behaviours and emotions’ and having beaten the Foxes BT has another result to mention………….
  4. RB cover all City away matches so I’m pretty confident that it’ll be on. If not I’ll watch Sky Sports News instead - they even show Championship goals at times.
  5. Pep is untouchable. He’s the best manager in Europe, pretty much every top European club would want him. He’s a serial winner and that showed when he roasted Grealish in public. He was clearly pissed off with JG. I’m not a fan of either Manchester club and really wanted the Gunners to nick a 1-0 win but earning a point is second prize I guess.
  6. Thanks but I can’t be arsed - too fiddly. I’ll tune into RB as usual.
  7. I thought of that but it’s not just my phone tho. I have an I-watch and an iPad - alerts come up on them as well.
  8. I don’t bother Rtv CR - it’s with not the money - it’s 30sec lag between the phone alert and the ‘live’ action.
  9. I recognised three names and one of them had passed on at least 4 years ago. The other two names passed away more recently within the last 18/12 I reckon. As Phants said the club had been working on it for quite some and deserve much credit. I’d not seen anything like that at any stadium before.
  10. Not on red button unfortunately - I checked yesterday.
  11. It happens of pretty much every thread Johnny. Threads rarely stay on topic. As you’re a new poster I’m sure you’ll get used to it eventually
  12. I saw a documentary awhile back about this very thing and how the lads climbed up and the top lad was always the last to ascend but the first descend and he did it by using rigging cable hanging on upside down with feet crossed over the rope and used his hands one over the other - it was truly amazing.
  13. Did he? I didn’t know that. I wonder how many likes I’ve really got………...
  14. The reputation hasn’t been in use for that long Rich - Phantom would probably know.
  15. Over 4300 likes would suggest differently Red……….……..
  16. He might well be but it’s definitely not reciprocated!
  17. Almost every fan would want the same but FIFA, FA and PGMOL won’t allow it because they see it a devaluing the refereeing profession if he/she had to explain dodgy decisions post match. Its a siege mentality.
  18. I can’t say that I’ve noticed that many new accounts Dave. I tend to pay attention to the more regular posters so that explains why I haven’t noticed - that said there is one new account that regularly questions some of my posts……. Seems very sinister to me.
  19. I agree that it was more like a rugby tackle but that type of thing happens in pretty much every game. The defender not even looking in the direction of the ball and he achieved his aim of stopping Dickie getting anywhere near the ball. Its very difficult for any referee to award a penalty when the box is cluttered with players jostling for position.
  20. Which way the teams play is decided at the ko by a coin toss. City obviously lost and the Foxes, like all visiting teams would have been fully aware which way City like to play, namely towards the SS in the second half and that’s why they changed it - it’s more psychological than anything else.
  21. The referee agreed with you Dave. Unfortunately he didn’t have benefit of VaR or a close up replay as we did on TV. I never even noticed it as the ball went over. I just saw lots of players jostling as we do at every corner.
  22. This type of ‘blocking’ happens at set plays pretty much every time when defending a set play. There’s very likely that the Dickie example wasn’t the only blocking going on and the referee either not seeing it or simply ignoring it is no surprise as it happens so frequently. The Conway incident when having his shirt tugged before getting tripped was a stonewall penalty. The referee just a few yards away not awarding was a very poor decision. Anyway - we still won the match despite the ref having a dreadful game.
  23. That must have taken quite awhile to compose!
  24. Stroud has a well earned reputation that precedes him.
