Just listened, not as bad as I feared (low bar).
Obvious from it that both King (which we knew) & James aren’t getting new contracts.
Think we all know Conway won’t sign another one, too.
Conway is overrated. He can be lazy. Doesn't react to situations quick enough. Wells still better for the team. Offers of £5million would sell asap..

Twine with his dead ball ability offers that skill which others don't possess. I'd let James and King leave or keep the latter with the coaching team and use their wages to keep Twine. Can we afford the transfer fee, no idea. Will Burnley let him leave after being relegated, no idea. But Twine adds excitement to games and I sit in the Dolman waiting for him to get a free kick close enough to allow him a chance at goal. From what I've seen of his skills he has a good chance to score.

So , where does Sykes fit in the grand scheme of things.
Vs Watford
Rotation ( like Clemence & Shilton *) doesn't feel an option. I think he could play where Knight is above, but that adds another question. I'd be happy with that though , end up like below.
I'd still like to see 2 up top , but that's another conversation on another thread.
Can play with Conway on his own so long as the two behind ie Twine and Sykes can get to him quickly in support and back to defend.

We may have to be patient and wait until next season when Seb Palmer-Holden currently out on loan, becomes the striker we all crave. He looks the part. Watch him Sunday for Newport against the mighty Man U.
-
Then me make him captain to add more pressure on the lad.

I expect it to be Jason Knight as he has already been Captain in recent games and has previous experience of The Captains role
Doesn't strike me as captain material. To quiet. Zak plays in the best position to influence the team and is quite vocal. Also in top form right now.

Some players may be holding back but equally they need to perform to get picked to play by Manning.

Manning obviously doesn't rate Yeboah he's not even on the bench today
Prefer Yeboah to Weiman. Former quicker, more aggressive and is exciting to watch. Should still come on as a sub as a minimum.

I’m sorry but can anyone explain what exactly tanner brings to this team?
so negative
He must be under orders to pass back every time.

Really need TGH to be permanent, hope there is no get out.
Totally agree but get him to use that belter of a strike he has much more often. Anywhere within say 10ft of the pen area. Good player and a must to sign.

Tanner is a talented footballer. He's pretty quick, gets stuck in and there's absolutely no reason why he can't bomb down the wing and get crosses in. If he struggles the City coaches should be sorting it. How hard is it to practice running down the wing at the HPC with the ball and crossing it. That's something you do in training. It may just be that LM wants him to defend more to allow Pring to get forward.

Coaches going to Watford from Ashton Gate.

Someone raised the point of can City fans sit anywhere in the London Stadium?
The club have told me that "seating in the London Stadium is allocated and not unreserved". In other words sit where it says on your tickets.

The old saying fits Yeboah. "If your good enough, your old enough". How many games did he feature as a sub? About 8 was it? From what I could see he was in no way overwhelmed by playing in the first team. Getting on with 10 to 20 mins left plus extra time, he used his pace against tiring legs to good effect. He ghosted past defenders. When he lost the ball, he got back to try to win it back and did a number of times. He was also a feisty bugger. Another plus was the buzz round the ground when he got on. I couldn't see to much wrong with him. Definately an impact player.

Are the pair still available?
-
Should have kept him. Playing as a center back of two or the centre of a back 3 and he would have been pretty decent. Exposing him to a quick player on his debut against Lincoln was totally unfair.

He needs to be more central where he can use his pace and control to take the ball forward and set up chances for the forward/s or even himself.
-
A back 3 of Dickie, Vyner and Atkinson aint so bad.
-
So he's done ok at Oxford this season. Any of their players good enough to come to us?

He places an emphasis on practice being excellent every day. Those words will be a dream to our hierarchy
Joking aside, he seems fairly similar to Nige with much of what he talks about.

Can we not have different opinions without telling people to **** off? I think it is clear the majority of fans think this is a mistake, but there will always be people who disagree, which is okay isn't it?
For the record, I own my own business and I would not appreciate one of my staff (no matter how popular or good they are) questioning the way I run my business and I suspect this is what the Lansdowns really have problems with.
I personally think that the club is in a much healthier position because of Nige and wish him all the very best
If you own a business you dont want staff like sheep. You want staff who question how the business is run but with positive contributions and thoughts not "boss f. off" or "you don't know what your doing".

I've already posted once but I'm so bloody annoyed with this decision. We've not been thumped by any team even though we've had so many injuries. I was looking forward to 5 or 6 first teamers coming back between now and November and more in December and with those who have stood in for them and got experience, we have a damn good squad. Could see a play off place being grabbed. What a tosser.
