Seems to be injured. DIckie in. Dickie and Naismith the central pairing. Good or not so good?

I think Cornick will turn some doubters, but there are an irrational minority who just won't give him any credit at all and never will. Bit weird. Another couple of goals and he'll be a fans favourite and the stick will pass on to someone else.
Play Cornick out of position and he'll look lost. Play him centre forward and he'll do well.

Post match Nigel Pearson spoke of fine margins and the fact we could’ve scored more.
My post match thoughts were less positive.
Firstly, I think we were very sloppy and made lots of poor decisions on the night. We certainly didn’t control the game or the ball particularly well.
Perhaps we could’ve scored more, as NP suggested, but certainly Plymouth had three gilt edge opportunities - one following Max’s sloppy clearance, then when they hit the post and at the death when ZV’s superb tackle prevented a certain goal.
Finally, I was really hacked off by two stupid yellow cards. Does anybody know if the club fine players for picking up a yellow card when they delay a free kick or throw the ball away?
In the first half Wells picked up a card for this which should’ve been more than enough warning to the rest of the players, however, in the second half Tanner joined him for the same offence. Really is not very professional. Everyone knows that referees are going to issue cards for such behaviour.
Anything positive to say?

I'm thinking about putting Dickie in.
Might be a cock up if you do.

Am I the only one who really feels for Maguire? Gets some wholly unnecessary stick at times. I'd love him to do well.
Not wanted or played much by Man U so needs to move to West Ham where Moyes will get him playing confidently again.
Dont like the idiots in the crowd jeering him. Better at footy than any of those *****.

Owners are using the funds to boost the balance sheet and make the figures so much more attractive to prospective buyers if the club looks to sell.

Hi guys. Got my ticket in my wallet which is good. What's not so good is that it states we are playing WBA. Hopefully it will right itself as it did for the Preston home game.

I wish Alex Scott every success and I really hope Bournemouth is a stepping stone to an even bigger move.
Unlike several other players in recent City history, he kept his head down among all of the speculation, worked hard and kept going.
He's definately been a role model for the next crop of young players in the squad and has shown the pathway and the club plan is now back on track.
Yes, it's painful to think that Bournemouth are now a bigger club than us but for now it's true. They took their opportunities when they came while we know where we made our mistakes.
I'm certain that the good times are coming and a £25 million pound cheque in the bank is certainly going to help.
Good luck Alex. I'll look forward to watching you on Match of the Day.
Yeh, setting up goals for Semenyo..

Did you not think Cornick was really bright last week v Pompey?
Bar Sykes goal (not dismissing the importance of that element) I didn’t think he offered anywhere near the same as Cornick last week.
Having said that Sykes has done well in other PS games, as has Cornick.
Theres little to choose between them. It really feels like perm 1 from 2 (for each position up top).
Suggest the difference is that Sykes scores goals whereas up to now, Cornick hasn't.

Swap Mehmeti for Bell and I reckon that’s it
Such a difficult call to make. But for me Sykes comes in for Cornick as the former has more pace and has shown he can put the ball in the net. I love Weiman but from preseason I would just go with Knight for his mobility. As to whether its Bell or Mehmeti. Do we go with sheer pace or a player with more tricky skills. Tough call. But again Bell scores. Luckily those that are not picked but are good enough, will get their chance against Oxford in the cup.

Some clubs do one big clap once a year for everyone, seems to work well.
Better before the game starts or at half time. Sad news though.

My only comment would be that according to Tinnion the pressing was better by our lads in the first half. I also felt Wells did a bit more of that than Conway.

Put Low in a team of 1st teamers and he'd be better. He had the past it Klose next to him who was awful plus he was exposed to a quick wing back up against him. Pearson should take a lot of blame for nearly killing his confidence.

Surely King will eventually take over from Pearson.

With extra places on the bench this season I think he may get 10 or 15 minutes a game depending on the score in said game
Probably feature in the friendlies and/or cup games if he's performed well so far.

Really like the look of this 11 - would only suggest Wells for Cornick though
Thought McCrorie is a centre back or defensive midfielder. In any case Tanner holds the r/b position and if he starts the season as he finished last season, in my book he keeps the r/b position.
-
I would say yes. Good for bringing on later in games with his sound reading of games and calm manner. Also can step in to give Janes a rest. Thought King played well in a number of games.

Not forgetting Low who has just been selected for the Welsh national side.

We need a few duff teams to beat and get confidence then a couple of Premiership teams to test the players and get the fans interested. Duffs the usual teams like Cheltenham, Forest Green and Exeter then perhaps Leicester if still in that division and say Palace.

Agree with you if we fail to beat Charlton can see Brum beating us in last game to nick it... and we have failed to win any of the previous 3 games at the Gate this season.
Still Durham couid get something out of their home game with Brum as they tend to do much better on their own patch. Then Brum could not catch us.
So how stipid is it to play any games at AG. Money grabbing put their title hopes at risk.
He’s gone.

And Ipswich fans said City were the best team they've played and with all our injuries. Crazy.
