Can't have James and King in midfield. To slow. Has to be Williams with James.

That will be full(ish) capacity less some segregation. Not really room for City fans too.
They're all CITY fans.

Andi is a six foot two attacking forward and a massive threat to any opposing team at championship level. Great asset to the club and he leaves NP with options.
6ft 2ins? He's 5ft 10ins. Good engine and gets about. But his defending isn't the best as he doesn't get tight enough.

Takes awhile for the confirmation to come through. Don't panic Captain Mannering.

I too had no idea how to order our seats so I picked some others. I don't think it was clear on account that I couldn't figure out how to do it. Oh well, it'll be nice to have a different view.
Chat to the ticket office. Their always helpful.

Front 3 has to be Bell, Wells and Sykes. All 3 are scoring albeit it seems at separate times. But bringing on Weiman and the 2 new lads with 20 to would be interesting.

Sykes played pretty well against WBA. Set up Scott for his goal. Also scored a few recently. Leave him in and only make a change by bringing in Pring. All players starting know there are good players on the bench and must keep their performances at a high level. If you play well you keep your place.

Their supporters seem genuinely excited by the tie. A few comments of 'Bristol City will play a weakened team...it is the only one they have' but mostly saying what an amazing City Bristol is and how we are such a big City not to have been top flight for so long. They are moaning the fact that it is not a weekend game, but still pleased they'll get 4000 tickets and reckon it will be a banging night. Some old timers talking about coaches bricked in and big punch ups in years gone by.
Better not let them old timers come this time.

Was it Scott that did that outrageous, but superb back heel down the near touch line towards the end? My MOM by some way.
2 goals for Bell in his 2nd league game?

Just reported on Sky Sports News that Semenyo has signed for the mighty Bournemouth.

I’m surprised he’s not even making the bench. You’d think he would be a useful “calm head” to bring on in certain situations.
As for the not supporting Josh Low theory, I don’t know whether this is meant more in terms of how he played positionally but he was talking to him throughout and was straight over to him picking him up when he made a mistake.
Had Josh Low played centre of a back 3 with Vyner one side and Atkinson the other, he would have had a good game. Or preferably as a center back in a back 4, no problem.

What decision did he get wrong today? If you’re being picky he didn’t claim one cross that he came for. Anything else?
One time in the 2nd half he rushed way out of his pen area when there were enough defenders there. Did the same against ? at home recently when an opposition player put it back over his head from distance into the net. Today he stuck a hand out and pushed the ball away. Apart from that he was decent.
-
That one run out of defence in the 2nd half was brilliant. Showed how good he is and how confident he is. He was also barking out instructions.

So what's our Nige going to do with this cup game. Select a team that should win as you do and then lose or pick your best 11 and go for a much needed morale boosting win for players and fans alike plus not forgetting the possibility of drawing a top club in the next round and bringing in some much needed dosh.

Yeah he had a nightmare, i felt really bad for him. Pearson really had it in for klose after that though and obviously completely lost faith in him…. That was as bad a game ive seen by us in a long time, and thats up against a wide selection of shambolic performances
Low is a player who should be central of a back 3. Not right with an ageing Klose central and Low getting a quick winger running at him a lot of the time. Low's a big guy, good in the air and will get stuck in. Poor by Pearson.

Agreed.
But how long have supporters been asking for Weimann to be in a posiition to affect the game and for Tanner to be on th right with Atkinson in for King ?
Should have happened ages ago and it is still a worry that it didn't.
NP did tonight what a hell of a lot of supporters could see and he couldn't - and it was much better.
I hope he has learned a lesson tonight - stop pissing around.
Totally agree with that.

Well done lads. Weimann and Semenyo a bit rusty could have nicked it. We were the better side.
Need to keep Weiman in that position and he'll score that chance.

Pearson just needs to play the players in their best positions and stop p....g about. So
O'Leary
Vyner Atkinson Naismith
Tanner Pring
Sykes Scott
Weiman
Conway Wells
So get the ball forward quicker, support the player with the ball quicker so that he has options, get some hard tackles in and cheer up. I left James out because I tend to feel he's a backwards, sideways passer and a bit slow. Williams I feel his injuries have caught up with him so use him as a sub for awhile. Semenyo needs to play so he starts the cup game against Swansea with the experienced Wells. But just as important the players morale has to be improved. Get out there and show the fans how good you are attitude.

Why bring on Sterling instead of Grealish?
-
Pity the player tackled didnt get straight up as he wasn't injured. It would have calmed things down. But he had a chance to get Tanner sent off and took it. He was smiling as he laid flat out.

You aren’t stalking me are you?
Naismith on his own won’t. He’s lost us more points than he’s gained. He’d be first on my team sheet if he had a Kalas or Klose in behind him.
He’s great at bringing the ball out but defensively he needs someone in behind him.
Ask yourself this. If he’s that good or as good as he thinks he is why’s he here?

Naismith is quality but just as fans say Vyner makes mistakes, so does Naismith.

Why not zonal mark but send two players to mark those opposition players hovering on the edge of our penalty area. Would have stopped their equaliser.

Can’t really help those to be fair.
You can by marking the opposition players who are threatening us just outside the pen area. These are strong, professional players who can easily score from that short distance. Crazy to leave them unmarked from corners or free kicks. The rest of the team can adopt the zonal marking game.
NP ahead of Wigan

The big plus for me was that we were at Norwich non stop. Didn't give them much time on the ball and when they threatened our goal, our pads tackled like crazy. Don't much about Wigan but if we start fast and keep going, using fresh subs who will work their socks off, Wigan will find it an uncomfortable evening.
