The OPs question has been answered. Can we close this thread, for @TomFs sanity?

Not just us then

Any academy prospects who could step
up?

Wonder if it’s related to our pitches. Do other clubs use the same pitch construction?

I have a feeling points deductions could be an influential team this season

I saw QPR one. It is early I don’t want to overreact too much. Just seems most teams are set up front foot early on. In the Leeds game they were talking about how 80+ goals over a season gets you promoted. We aren’t auto promotion contenders but we didn’t set up in a way where we can even dream.
80+ goals over a season also gets you relegated…

Another example of the club failing to maximise revenue from merchandise

Did I hear a rumour they’ve pre-assembled some of the structure in their car/coach park?
Even better, if so.
I hope they haven’t obstructed the escape route from the rest of the stadium, resulting in more of the stadium being closed to supporters on safety grounds

“An ambitious plan”

For all the progress off the field, our performance on kits and merchandising is so poor it beggars belief. Surely somebody at the club recognises this, and the resulting loss of revenue.

There is no right to light
There is however a legal requirement to consult meaningfully and to carry out an assessment of the impact of proposed development. There are also legal requirements for managing the impact of construction work, environmental damage and health and safety on site.
From the sounds of it, they have broken the law and may be liable to an unlimited fine.

When does the thread get back to the electrical problem page ?
Never going to find my power cut problem talking about Alex Scott.
You’re not the only one in the dark

I see Cornick as one of the those players who are really annoying when they are on the opposition, but underappreciated when they are on your side. He puts himself around and pressures defenders to make mistakes, he's not going to dribble through the defence and score a wonder goal, but he has an impact for the team.

If he has gone, it’s a bit odd that the club hasn’t said anything. I would have expected at least an acknowledgement of his service

Wonder if City have allowed Wolves scouts to attend.
That would be one way to boost Robins TV sub numbers

Like any job. You get paid in arrears not advance.
I get paid in advance. Well, 50% arrears, 50% advance

Gotta love City fans sometimes! Here’s a player who’s got two Championship promotions under his belt, plus another play off season, who’s played 28 times at full international level for a decent national team…….but who’s apparently not good enough for Bristol City and a waste of money.
I know football is all about opinions, but sometimes there are some relevant facts in there too.
I don’t think anyone’s saying he’s not a good player, just that we didn’t get good value considering the fee and wages

Not us. We don’t sell shirts in JD Sports, or our own club store

We want £250,000 according to the papers. Nice 150% profit after one season! And he’s an option if he stays. Win win.
Pfff. We should be asking £1m and negotiate from there
