I’m sure Gary will be offered a decent job somewhere else. He deserves better

@Davefevs this OP needs more context. Was Matt Hale involved in our academy?

I still think this would be a better option as ashton gate stop. Could have potentially used the old police horses place as car park behind as the caravan and camping club still struggling to get planning permission due to flood risk.
Agreed. It would be easy to link into the existing footway network which leads to the stadium. It’s about a 15 min walk to the stadium.

Surprised we haven’t gone back to Botswana tbh. It seemed to be a great pre-season

Keeper should save that

Yes, saw that earlier.
Wage bill £180m, £19m in quarterly interest payments alone to the notorious Macquarie, out of contract players with no value, in contract players with reduced value, etc and so on. Big trouble may be ahead.
Yet more mismanagement of a club. Barney Ronay put it nicely in The Guardian today: they were relegated because they forgot not to get relegated.
Those quarterly interest payments balance out their parachute payments. No doubt they will sell some players and reduce wage bill but they won’t have the same advantage as Burnley or Norwich. If they don’t get promoted next season or find new investment it could be a long slide for them

I cannot congratulate Luton. Or Coventry if they had won. I find it embarrassing and if I'm honest a little bitter.
It wasnt that long ago Luton were in the Conference. 5 bloody years!
Then you had Coventry. Slowly going down the leagues, ending up in League 2 and often homeless.
Both make our outfit look like amateurs
Alternatively, they have faced adversity and responded whereas our club has been too comfortable

For everyone thinking what a job pearson has done at city,, edwards, and mark robins, have been absolutely fantastic for their clubs given the struggles they have had.
I think Edwards has benefitted from the setup there in the same way as Jones did. Everyone thought they would struggle without Jones but they just continued.
It shows that promotion to the PL can be achieved without huge financial backing

Not sure the Prem is ready for Luton, saw an article earlier saying Luton need to spend £10M to get the ground ready, not sure if that's true, but having been there I wouldn't be surprised.
Fair play to them, but it will be a minor miracle for them to stay up next year.
They’ve built a good side and deserved their shot. Good luck to them

With their recent windfall from the Bellingham move, reckon we can ask for a tidy fee
