I think that is a bit of a false argument. I think most of us - whatever our career - can recognise the difference in how we perform when we are comfortable and confident in what we are doing and feel trusted to do that  and how we perform when we are scared our boss is going to haul us over the coals for any mistake we make.

Footballers are humans - not some weird alien species where basic rules of human psychology no longer apply.

    Very very very true

    Andy Cole.

What blinkered leaders we must have had who couldn’t see how we literally had somebody who could single handed lead us to promotion.

Just invest in the team around him and reap the rewards of Div 1 later.

Prior to that super Bob. Again just lacking a board who truly wanted the club in division 1.

Cole would ever had stayed here all we were was a stepping stone

I think we will. Difficult to imagine at the moment when struggling past Barnsley at home, but our luck will turn eventually.

I think in a weird way we could do with a few more competitive local rivals (yes, even Rovers). I know this goes against the grain on here but in my opinion, whilst it's fun for bragging rights if Rovers are crap, having a local derby regularly is good for the club. It generates a buzz and media attention, also a guaranteed good atmosphere.

I'd rather play the likes of Rovers, Plymouth, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport etc than Huddersfield, Barnsley, Hull & Preston.

Would love to play rovers every season. You can’t beat Darby day for the buzz from first thing in the morning till kick off

It was not the stewarding, the whole set up was piss poor...no outer security cordon meant that a large group could easily congregate and charge the (temporary) barriers and stewards.....the police were no where to be seen until very late in....so, proactive and planned security 0 coked and pissed chancers 1!

That would never have happened at the Olympics where you passed through an outer security barrier and then the turnstiles.

    Same city....different planners...useless coppers

I think it’s hard to implement a outer Fench system du to so many people living so close to Wembley
