@JonDolmanwe hold a year option too. In T’s case, his age and therefore wage would be at a level where exercising that option would be a no-brainer and you wouldn’t need to negotiate down like Weimann for example. Having said that if he is putting the right level of performance in, you might want to try to extend.
@GrahamC if Nige’s comments are true, and the penny has dropped, that is a good sign. Up to him now. Will be watching carefully to see if we get the customary Tyreeq level-off and decline. Bar the opening 15 minutes on Wednesday where he struggled (as did the team) I thought he defended the area in front of the CBs pretty well. There was a shot (Allen I think) where Joe Williams closed down from further away initially than Tyreeq, but I don’t recall any other occasion where I thought he didn’t do his job. Plus very mature last half hour when playing the anchor to our 20 and 18 year old midfield partners!
If Nige can get a tune out of him (and Callum too) that’s a big plus.
I liked his Sky interview too.

Its been triggered!

It's fantastic to see. With the development curve they are on we'll be lucky to see them beyond a couple more seasons.
-
Won't be our biggest attendance of the season but you lot at AG helped bring that one home. Sounded amazing on the radio.
What a hard fought and satisfying win. Well done lads!

I thought his application for 90 minutes today was spot on. He worked well with Williams. Bit too eager at times to pass forward, but no criticism of his overall performance from me today.
His natural game was subdued but i think he played to instruction today and in the main made a good go of that.

It's useful to have the option but we use it too often and at the wrong moments sometimes.

All action isn't he? Got a bit of everything and a desire to give it his all for 90 mins.
He makes a big difference.

Christ, we actually look like we want it more. Competent performances all over, lots of hard running. Good 45.
Expect Blackburn to come at us more 2nd half, so another goal will be needed at least for the collective nerves.

"He's fine, he's trained today. I think whatever the circumstances, you know what you're going to get from Tom. That is a committed footballer.
I think him coming back early is a benefit to us. He had a bit of a procedure on his toes, he had something taken out, but he's fine."

Thought maybe it was time to bump this one now they are actually making new TV shows again!
Coming up...
The 6th and final season of The Expanse starts Dec 15 on Prime. Highly recommended, still time to binge through a few seasons and catch up.
Cowboy Beebop - Adapted from an Anime, follows a group of bounty hunters in space. Nov 19th Netflix
The Wheel of Time - High fantasy adaptation from a popular series of books, think The Witcher/LotR. Nov 19th. Prime
Watched recently...
Midnight Mass - horror from the same people that did the last couple of years 'Haunting' box sets. I liked it, not as good as the previous years efforts but decent. Already on Netflix.
Inside No.9 - BBC iPlayer, 6 seasons of some of the finest dark comedy ever written. Every episode is unique and brilliantly written and performed.

Didnt they beat england at WP? David healy goal?...
They certainly did.
I was working at the BBC at the time and had only the month before gone to BBC Belfast with work. Lovely bunch, took us out, showed us the sights. Drinks were drunk, banter was had.
It was of little surprise a few days after the game when i got an envelope via internal post from BBC Belfast.
Inside was an A4 print of Healy celebrating his goal and on the back was a message that read...
"David ****ing Healy!!!
Stick that up your arse you English manual manipulator!!!"
I stuck it up by my desk. Often got asked why it was there but only a few knew of the profanity it hid!

Watched the 2nd half. Total shitehouse football from Rovers once they were gifted the lead. Ball was barely in play for more than 10 secs, +8 added time.

That was lovely.

My hypothesis is that HNM's issues and weaknesses are that he tries to play the entire game at the same pace. He hasn't yet learned to adjust his own tempo and pacing to that of the game, or how to use an adjustment in pace and tempo to help his team control the game. As a result he is sometimes very useful and a great attribute to the team, but at other times his fast, direct style can in fact be detrimental.
I think that is spot on. Sometimes i think he plays at only 100mph because he can. Rarely do you see him tiring late into the game but yeh, i think that's an area to improve on that would serve him well.
-
Was looking at that earlier. I think it's fair representation of what we've seen from him so far this season. He's a hard working, tidy player who can effect games. Looked a little lost in spells in the recent poor team performances but still put in a half decent shift where others didn't.
The heat map alone is quite impressive.

When he was charged for the one involving his Mrs, Wael said anyone at the club found guilty of such charges would be dismissed.
Not sure where he stands on assaulting opposition managers.
