Fair play to Hungary, they played well. England off form for sure. Grealish off was an odd one and i don't think it did us any favours.

Unlucky Faroe Islands!

Looks like a copper got sparked out in that crowd trouble. Fists and batons swinging all over the place.

There is no way the club can ever moan about finances again.
Me and @CyderInACan have both had a pint of Peroni.
Cost 4 Tilsons.
Did they come in a proper pint glass or one of those ridiculous tall Peroni ones that are just asking to be knocked over once everyone's had a couple.
Bloody nightmare if there are 5 or 6 on a table.

It's started going a bit Sunday league. Players need to rise above it and focus on the football.
Not tested the keeper enough but it's going to open up more as the game goes on.

Anything less than 4 or 5-0 would be a poor result tonight.
Half expecting more.

So the G*s have scaled the metaphorical mountain that is the mighty Carlisle, bit like running up Glastonbury Tor....well done them.
HMS Piss the League back on the slipway, as opposed to being sat in dry dock?
Hopefully setting sail. Worse things happen at sea as they say.

Massengo still u20s eligible
You'd think he would of got that call up if he hadn't been injured recently. His form can't of gone unnoticed.
1 hour ago, mozo said:It's ridiculous that Camavinga still plays for their U21s because France needed him at the €s. Massengo should be in there instead.
I don't know how big the talent pool is at U21 level but Lyon alone consistently produce good young players. Add to that Clairefontaine and the other federation academies, it's no surpise they have been a very competetive team over a long period.
As above, he must be on their radar though, particularly having played at other youth levels. Do they want/need his type of player? Selections certainly become more narrow as you move up through the youth teams, U21s essentially being groomed for the senior team.

Did he play alright and no injury's
Not been able to find a match report I'm afraid, assume no injury. Nothing mentioned on the OS where I got the above from.

Played the full 90 as England lost 3-1 v France.

Add in Jimmy Bullard, a z list guest and some cheap gags and it's basically Soccer AM.

Really interesting watch.
Goes into some detail regarding fitness programs, loading and injury prevention. Some interesting graphs showing improvement on last season in there as well.
Certainly inspires confidence that the players fitness and performance is in good hands.
Worth 15 mins of your time.

Put a different head on those shoulders and he'd probably of had a top flight career.
Brilliant footballer but something clearly holding him back on the professional bit.

Yeah me too, always much preferred PES. It's kind of been with me for years so I'm a bit sad to see this new direction. Yes fingers crossed they patch it good.
Also, they have had real player names and likeness for years, just the teams, stadiums and strips that were dodgy. I always sorted that with a option file from ebay for cheap. it actually ended up looking good once that was done.
Yeh i've used the editors, work really well. South West Red is not a very catchy name is it? I do like to see us sporting the Purple and Lime 2nd strip as well, rarely does it clash with anything!

Was always a PES person from way back in the day when it was called International Superstar Soccer on the SNES.
There were a couple of good versions on PS2/3 era but it's been in steady decline really every since.
The latest one, the now free to play model eFootball is a disaster from launch. Konami even posted an appology. Might be worth another look in month or so once they've patched it a bit but i think this could be the end of what once was the better of the two games, at least in how it played, the lack of real player names, teams etc never really bothered me.

It’s all Ben Garner’s fault the Gash are so rubbish apparently:-
See me after the game Ben, I'll tell you where you went wrong, says the bloke who had half a season to turn it around himself before sticking a relegation on his CV.
So glad he's at Rovers. Such a ****.
