  1. Frank Lampard manager with Eddie Nketia up front.
  2. I really hope they're correct.
  3. At least their experience will be useful next season or the one after.
  4. A good read for all those of you that want Lampard as manager. As I alluded to earlier he is not a good man manager, shuns players, throws others under the bus and is tactically inept. https://theathletic.com/2298337/2021/01/25/lampards-chelsea-sacking-tension-with-marina-unhappy-players-and-secret-job-offers/
  5. Thought Tinnion would be picking the team, so starts for Yeboah and Knight Lebel. Curtis just there to coach.
  6. Didn't Mourinho win the Premier league and Pep the Champions League after those decisions ?
  7. Yep last three away ticket transactions just get a blank screen with ok in top left corner. Tried 3 different cards for Southampton and finally got an email receipt at the 3rd attempt. Total crap that has not been rectified for weeks. Bs employees too busy on here posting their love for Lansdown.
  8. Is this the same Frank Lampard that is reportedly a very poor man manager, that blanked many senior Chelsea pros, tried to sell Rudiger in a January window as he was deemed not good enough. The same Lampard that split the Chelsea dressing room. Whoopee can't wait.
  9. Remember seeing him play for Spurs in a Football combination (reserves) game at the Gate. His Dad was a few rows away in The Williams stand.
  10. In that case we will soon be a League one club and worth an awful lot less, particularly with only small (£1million) annual solidarity payments.
  11. I was going to replace Tinnion with Baldrick but guessed people may realise what a 'dense' decision maker I was talking about.
  12. I'm getting the impression the longer this goes on that Tinnion's cunning plan has backfired somewhat. If you are going to have the 'balls' to sack a manager that everyone apart from you can see is doing a good job in difficult circumstances at least have a coach lined up to announce as his replacement. To leave a void leading up to two crucial fixtures (lose them and we are looking well and truly downwards) is downright negligent. As someone on another thread said, if I was Curtis Fleming I would do the press conference for the Wednesday game, tell it how it is and then tell the Lansdowns to stick their club where the sun don't shine.
  13. Me too. Already committed to this one and QPR away. Lost quite a bit of enthusiasm this past week and it will take a while (if ever) to rekindle the passion. Let's see.
  14. Not really. It has been covered a zillion times on here.
  15. Bumped this as a reminder tickets go on sale 10am tomorrow.
  16. If I was Wednesday I would fancy this for a result. Front foot for the first 10 / 15 minutes, make sure the crowd are toxic and go for the win. Yes our players are professional and get paid but we have all suffered seeing a good boss depart for whatever reason and know it's not a good feeling.
  17. Depends how principled Wilder is, seeing that he is Pearson's neighbour and friend in Sheffield. I believe.
  18. My thoughts too. I was expecting a quick announcement to try and change the mood of supporters but instead a further long silence.
  19. In a weird way I so hope they had Rowett all lined up and following the backlash to NP's sacking he has told them to do one. Let the chuckle brothers sort that mess out. Over to you John.
  20. Thankyou (out of responses today).
