  1. That has to be the biggest crock of sh.... that I have read on here for a long time. Great foresight from NP. Contacting MA and SL 3 months before being offered the job to ask them to keep Fammy and run his contract down so that he would benefit from the so called 'value on the pitch decision.' Hilarious
  2. If a Tory Council buy Pride Park for £20m and give the money to MM and not HMRC then there should, imo, be a public outcry. I would hope that some of the respected (non Tory) Newspapers in this country run with the story.
  3. Sorry, perhaps its me being a bit dull but why would his value go down after he has had an op and fully recovered ? His value (on the books with a year left of his contract) is circa £3 million how is that going to drop right down due to having an op. Most players have an operation of one sort or another during their career, their valuation doesn't automatically drop as a result. Perhaps he has been rested and having an op now so that we are in a position to get full value if he is sold.
  4. Bigger audience in Malaysia than we could generate anywhere worldwide which means more advertising revenue for Sky.
  5. Any club that thinks he is worth signing, once he has had his op.
  6. HMRC will never accept a lower payment than we could reasonably expect to achieve in court. We will only accept the full amount of tax, interest and penalties owed. If multinational corporations do not agree to settle a dispute with HMRC, we will take this to a tribunal, and we win most cases.
  7. Thanks again...and like others I spent more time watching the seagulls than the turgid rubbish on the pitch.
  8. It's not Pearsons job to teach professional footballers how to pass a football to a team mate. If they can't do the basics now as professional highly paid footballers then they are in the wrong job.
  9. Both of which would be more akin to Downs league football than 2nd tier professional football.
  10. Didn't read the list as assumed he was asking as he didnt know of any decisions involving us. What was the point of his post then if he already knew the answers.
  11. Chris Martin brought down by Lloyd Kelly for a stonewall penalty when the score was 2-1. Pen not given. Another one for your list.
  12. Really. Only 5 of our past 14 managers had any experience of managing at this level. Says it all imo.
  13. Ha ha I forgot all about him...totally agree with your comments. He sums the club up over the past 4 years.
  14. A few gallons of petrol if you're lucky.
  15. So we bring in a new manager, as many on here hope for. He wipes the slate clean with the squad and we start next season with Palmer, Bakinson, Vyner, Taylor Moore in the starting 11. How long before new manager realises, actually they are cr*p haven' t got the desire of just too thick to follow tactical instructions. What then. Send them out in loan next December and bring in other cheap options to keep us afloat because by then we will probably be adrift at the foot of the table. NP isn't perfect but imo we need to keep our nerve and see how the pre season unfolds. There have been positive s this season and enough to build on for a better season next. It still won't be great but with our situation as it is all we can hope for are small signs of progression until the anchor weighing us down ( big wages) is removed we have zero wriggle room.
  16. And at the time we changed managers LJ / DH he was between 2 play off appearances with Swansea
  17. We were playing much better a month or so ago with Massengo and Scott in the middle imo
  18. Do any of you really believe that Massengo is worth more than £3 million ( with a year left on contract) or that Semenyo is going to fetch close to £5 million. Scott going nowhere this summer if we don't want to sell him.
  19. If Ian says one more time about bringing in a young manager, who dies he think will fit the bill? Please stop saying Lowe and Cooper, they are both employed and unrealistic now. Someone please point out that we went down that route with LJ and DH, they worked out well..or not
  20. Sir Geoff

Burnley are in massive debt. The new owners saddled the club by taking loans out in the club's name to finance the purchase, ala ManUre. Norwich posted a 1.9 million profit this time but previous accounts were over £30 million debt. Huddersfield last account showed over £8 million debt, suspect current accounts could be similar.
