  1. Zak Vyner, what is he ? How did he become a professional footballer. Gave the ball away 3 times with his first 4 touches, played a crossfield pass that went out for a goal kick and was so late in one tackle that he nearly took the wingers leg off ( no idea how he didn't get booked for that).
  2. Thought he was the catalyst for much of our poor play today. He was way too slow in possession, slowing the game down when we needed to be quicker and more decisive.
  3. Didn't a PNE 'insider' tell Kieren Maguire that Kitchener was unable to show that he had the funds to buy them, which is why the deal went belly up.
  4. No they didn't, according to Price of football podcast.
  5. Depends on offers. Suspect we more likely to lose Wells imo. Can't see clubs falling over themselves to sign Palmer.I
  6. No surprise for me if we lose those two this summer plus maybe one of Wells or Palmer. Pearson said a few weeks ago that his priority is a Centre Half. I suspect he has someone lined up.
  7. Good result for Watford tonight. They have a decent run in and looked like a team at Anfield last weekend. Burnley and Everton to go down imo.
  8. Can't play him as they will owe Spurs £10 million once he makes 20 appearances.
  9. You obviously were'nt watching. Its what we totally lack. Impact Subs. One of those impact subs changed the game within 2 minutes, not sure how you call that bottling team selection. What if he started with them and the match played out as he expected and it was 0-0 after 75 minutes who could he then bring on to change the game against tiring legs. Seemed to get it spot on if you ask me.
  10. 4 games a day when the weather will be cold and wet outside....happy days (maybe not for the dog who will be rushed around the field in between matches).
  11. If, if, if we hadn't conceded so many late goals we would be comfortably in mid table, even looking at play offs. All hypothetical..To quote a well known football manager, It is what it is.
  12. Probably one of my top ten city memories.
  13. Sounds like a definite hostage situation to me. Pete an Rob will be receiving ransom demands for Stan's release soon.
  14. Man City (as it is the more interesting tie) until they go a couple up then switch to Liverpool as I prefer watching them.
  15. Been abducted by the steel band playing outside his window last week.
  16. In this hypothetical could we refer to it as the First Division......no more of this Premier League..
  17. Seems like now or never for DC. Can't see that Kirchner will have bid the same as before Christmas so would assume a lower bid than before.
  18. Still a hundred times better than Clinton Morrison. I just can not listen to a commentary when he is co commentator.
  19. Just another conspiracy against us from the EFL because they want us relegated.......oh wait, no that was WRDC (and they have had at least 2 pens this season)
  20. How is parking legally near a football stadium for hours being an asshole ? Imo anyone parking illegally for even 5 minutes should be ticketed..my point being what are the council doing in other areas of the city where there is even more 'illegal' disruption and on a daily basis.
  21. Renewed my 2 no problem, paid up front all done in a few minutes.
  22. Never understood why anyone that buys a house near a major sporting venue is surprised that a large number of cars appear on event / match days. Surely if you buy a house in that vacinity then you surely accept a degree of disruption. No different than living next to a school and constantly having your driveway blocked or cars parking on pavements as close to the school gates as possible. Parking issues have been raised in and around Ashton Gate since the First division days when restrictions first started appearing.
  23. Which seems to be unused by the majority of the general public on Saturdays, judging by how quiet it is each week.
  24. Personally can't see Burnley staying up but they could do Watford a big favour. I was impressed by them Saturday at Anfield and they have 3 winnable home games coming up soon as well as a more comfortable looking run in. Everton's run in is ghastly by comparison.
