  1. TBF to Heddlu I thought their operation plan to keep fans apart after the game at their place was excellent. Would have kicked off big time otherwise.
  2. Sir Geoff

    Kalas

I hate player ratings but I would have given Kalas, Martin and Weimann 9/10 each today with TK my Man of the match. (Semenyo was awesome in the last 30 minutes but not quite enough for a 9).
  3. Quite a few things thrown at Cardiff players after their goal and celebration in front of s82
  4. He's 9 hours ahead of you. Matchday thread currently near the bottom of the page....pay attention.
  5. Seemed like that on day one way they stormed in claiming they would overturn the points deductions.
  6. Am i correct in thinking that the EFL gave Derby another opportunity before this season started to produce accounts and ''put their hands up' by saying that Derbys and Wycombes fixtures were interchangeable before the season started. That surely implied an acknowledgement of Wycombes complaint and a warning to Derby that time was running out.
  7. I have always thought the siege mentality will help them survive. Not any longer. They will have to sell players and now looks like like WR may be off to rename Everton WRE.
  8. Rooney and Lampard now on the shortlist, allegedly.
  9. If Chelski keep dropping points like this It wouldn't surprise me if Tuchel ends the season as Man Ure manager (him being one of Rangnicks first disciples).
  10. For months FBC podcast has been banging on about square pegs, round holes etc...now they suggest Dasilva at RB. Baffling
  11. What is he expected to say, " Taylor Moore's cr*p so he went out on Loan to free up some wages." Or more succinctly " He's out on Loan " NP will answer most sensible questions with a straight bat IMO.
  12. I suspect you could bet your house on it. Wales v Scotland in Cardiff the day before. That will not be in an empty stadium.
  13. Only just read this but worth remembering that SJ is good friends of one the administrators. I guess he is acting as an unofficial ' mouthpiece' for them.
  14. The Beatles left Marleybone Station to travel to the West Country to record scenes for their new film. The exhibition of photographs taken prior to the Beatles departure from Marleybone station is open now in London at he link provided by NTTDS. For anyone not interested in downing pints at Wetherspoons it is a worthwhile cultural alternative. The football link is that during the scene at Crowcombe, Paul Mcartney asks, "Can we have our ball back ?" Do I win a prize ?
  15. Some of the scenes were shot in Minehead some at Crowcombe. (A Hard Days Night)
  16. Liverpool 2 years ago if we had managed to turn up v Shrewsbury at Home and Man City if we had taken our chances against Fulham. Only got ourselves to blame.
  17. And dont forget to claim compensation for any delays.
  18. Completely agree. O Dowda spent the entire second half hiding on the touchline behind the full back. Quite a few times he could have come towards the ball to give Pring an easy pass but instead retreated away from the ball giving Pring no option but to go infield.
  19. Looked totally shattered for the last 20 mins. Battered and bruised. Thought he may have come off for Wells with Semenyo switching to the right. Fair play to him for lasting the 90. Terrific performance.
  20. Not helped by a lack of movement and options ahead if him
  21. At last a goalkeeper who looks comfortable with the ball at his feet. I thought we looked a much better team by playing out from the back (big shout out to Scott who kept showing for the ball). Max was even rolling it out to our players and kept moving the ball quickly rather than the slow predictable Bentley, followed by a long hoof up field.
  22. First match I've swerved all season. Looking forward to sitting at home with a cold beer rather than embarking on a 4 hour round trip in the cold and wet.
