  1. Don't think those figures are far off. Scott has a much longer contract so another year or two in the championship will increase his value the more experience and improvement he gains.
  2. No excuse. They had the whole of January to sort that.
  3. Blimey I found myself agreeing with both Ian and Dave at different points. Ian agree that the fees being talked about on OTIB are ridiculous and no where near the amounts we would get for our 3 youngsters. Semenyo is 22 (so no youngster) and has had 6 weeks of exceptional football at this level. Ian also mentioned how poor his first touch was at times yesterday, it was equally as bad in the first hour v Coventry but was glossed over on the forum as he had a good last half hour. Agree with Dave that Kalas could be a large part of the problem at the back. With a year left on his contract (I think) then I would listen to reasonable offers in the summer.
  4. Handball all day long for me. Watching the game he raised his arm into an unnatural position, towards the ball and leant into it. Some of the ball is below the sleeve line. His reaction afterwards was telling, he knew he had hand balled it. Var took ages (again) to come out on the side of the bigger club.
  5. Yes great idea, let's change the one part of the team that is functioning consistently well this season.
  6. The proof of funds deadline to the EFL is looming next week (Monday / Tuesday). Already been given a months extension. I can't see that being repeated. Seems like they have one working day left to prove they have sufficient funds or the EFL will surely pull the plug on them, preferred bidders or not.
  7. Out of interest what was the basis of your appeal. Bearing in mind the road includes the verges / wasteland ( so as far as the railings in this case).
  8. Looks like the only defence could be poor / unclear signage which would be down to the op to prove.
  9. Just done a bit of research for you. Code 02 has nothing to do with Double or single yellow lines. It refers to waiting in a restricted area. You need to check what signs are in place and if none, happy days, otherwise check what times the restrictions are in force. My guess is that match days no waiting restrictions will be in force. https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/further-details-contravention-code-02#:~:text=Contravention code 02 shall be,which the loading ban applies.
  10. Bl**dy Champions League. I was looking to watch Burnley v Spurs but twasnt on anywhere.
  11. The road includes the wasteland as it is not just the carriageway it includes everything up to the ' hedgerow' in either side of the road and pavement. The crux of this is whether there are clear unobstructed signs at either end of the road showing what restrictions / waiting times are in force. If there are no signs or you were outside the restricted times then you have good grounds for an appeal.
  12. Bigger picture...you let these little 'herberts' keep running on the pitch now, they will think its even more fun in 10 years time when they're beered or coked up. Keep off the pitch means Everyone not just those over a certain age.
  13. Joe Williams seemed to get the ball and his feet tangled up. Probably off balance owing to Massengos initial forward movement.
  14. I'll be over generous and state that although he has been here a year, I don't think he has really been here since he signed a 3 year contract last summer. The last 3 months of last season were a write off with Nige frantically assessing an injury ravaged squad whilst also trying to remain in the Championship. His real work started on July 1st. I have total faith in NP and think we now have decent foundations to become a solid top 10 side next season.
  15. Mention on Tslksport a couple of days ago that a VAR lite (whatever that is) is being trialled in minor countries and has been talked about being introduced into EFL in 2/3 years time.
  16. I suspect if, but and maybe could be considered. Let us enjoy yesterday for a bit longer before worrying about Tuesday

    Weimann

Finally being given a run in his best position imo. He isn't a wing back which is where the last 2 managers played him due to his willingness to operate there.
  18. Perhaps we didn't lose because the players you mention weren't playing
  19. My MOM yesterday. Superb display which gave the defence an extra 10 per cent confidence.

And there we were being told by wise sages on here that all he does is run around and wave his arms about. Player of the season for me by a mile.
