    Think yourself lucky.

My ex wife is a terrible person. I'd say we Co parent but I ultimately Co parent with my ex mother in law. My daughter told me and my mum last weekend that mummy doesn't play with her because she doesn't love her. Now kids do say things that sometimes come out wrong but she always tells me what she does with her auntie, cousins, nanny and grandad etc but never what she does with her mum. Realised now it's because she probably doesnt. My ex wife's friends have seen through her now because of what she's done and the way she conducts herself, but that's the path she's taken and it's on her when it goes tits up.

Was meant to put my post below as a reply to you.

  3. Sorry to hear this buddy. I know exactly how that feels , it's so hard isn't it I've learnt recently though that when they do say things, you can only go on instinct and mine has been correct everytime. My exes family have reached out to me because they worked her out too, it's so shit that people have to be like that, when all there focus should be on their child and just give them they love they crave,  just have to hope they work it out themselves and they come out the other side ok. Obviously we don't know each other but if ever you need a chat about things always here to lend and ear ( it's nice to know there's are people who are experiencing the same sort of things even though it's shit we have too go through it ).

Released…due to Grimsby cutting budgets on relegation.

Then again, I read today he’d had a falling out there…but hadn’t seen that mentioned anywhere else previously.

Credit to Tinnion for spotting him, and then pouncing after his trial spell at Brum cane to nothing.

great that we are picking these players up early, obviously it's only one game but how many times have we picked young players up and they've not really come to anything or been linked with players who go onto to do great things elsewhere who we could have got, whilst there are loads of things our club needs to sort out, our u23's recruitment and development is certainly a massive positive.

I'm glad things have calmed down.

I've just small claims and two potential court cases to go, plus sort the rest of their stuff to sort being picked up.

Been a bit crazy last 6 months. Finally getting the house how I want it though. #smallwins.

Just little steps at the time and before you know it you will be all sorted and happy ?

    Thanks lovely.

My head is actually up my arse. She's due round to disconnect her washing machine tonight and I need chaperones to keep me safe from her...

When I said things were messed up they're truly on a different level of bizarre. All communications go through her boss or her aunt, and can arrive at any time. The landlord rang me when she tried to cancel the entire tenancy, not just her coming off it, whilst he'd just stepped off a plane coming back from holiday, seriously. I've had random texts off people claiming to be someone she knows and pretty much everything in between.

I'm trying to keep busy this week, everything is up in the air at home too, so not helpful as I'm temping and had two job offers but only inital ones rather than actual and one of those changed yesterday from permenant to six months.

It's a bit stressful as you'd imagine. Coffee is my friend and will see what happens next.

Tough times......I can relate to having an ex like that ...though not on any scale you're describing here, she sounds very unpredictable I hope somewhere in the future you can get some peace from it.sadly mine will always be in my life.

  7. Currently watching this, really difficult to watch, was to young to really remember the height of fame Saville had, and only when he died did I hear rumours that people knew what was going on but watching that and the actual truth that he was questioned about it by police and it was quiet and open thing turns my stomach.

He always mentions us in these type of discussions- makes you wonder where we would have got to had he been given the gig.

Yep whilst I never liked his antics to much, I'd love city to have a nasty side like his sides had.

  9. Don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere else but he was on talksport yesterday and they asked him were there any clubs he wanted to manage but never got too... he said bristol city were one he always wanted but the opportunity never came up. Said he always had fun with the fans and would've enjoyed it here. Wish him all the best with his retirement.

  10. I really hope he stays, we've needed someone like Pearson for years, will say it how it is and if you don't like it then off you pop, we've always been a soft touch on and off the pitch. I get that results and the performance yesterday was shit, but he really does need the time to sort this mess out, he said it would take 3 windows to get to where he wants so I think give him that, he is right with what he said the next manager will have the same problems.

Want to share a podcast about mental health and football.

Quickly Kevin, Will He Score? is a podcast all about 90's football, so for those of us of a certain generation it's a great listen. They've done an episode in association with the NHS. It's an interview with Tony Adams, and explores his career, his well-documented health issues, and his life in general.

This week we're honoured to be joined by England and Arsenal legend Tony Adams to discuss his incredible career and his work beyond the game with the Sporting Chance charity. This very special bonus episode in association with the NHS is also to help raise awareness of a cause we believe strongly in - mental health and increasing the awareness of the support available.

For those that feel they might need it, help is out there. NHS mental health service are a free, effective, and confidential way to treat common mental health issues. Help can be offered in a number of ways including in person, by video consultation, over the phone or as an online course. So, before we talk to Tony, we just want to let you know that if you need help with your mental health, you can refer yourself, or if you’d rather -  a GP is always around to refer you. Go to;  nhs.uk/help for more information.

The below is a link to it, but if you search "Quickly Kevin" on any podcast app it will come up.

Other clubs have to do far less than us to get pens, even tiny teams like Preston so its not like its a big club favouritism.

Many of our non pens could have been given

Many of the pens against us might not have been given

All about bias' of referee's, also probably Ashton Gate too nice.

We are also lowest in the table of pens versus expected goals so its nothing to do with the old joke about having to get near the goal.

Are we too hated by refs or too nice? Tricky one.

I would also like to see a penalty conceded table... Must be top of that this season

I think were too nice, we need to get a nasty streak, Alex Scott is the best player we have at buying a foul he feels a player in his back and he just goes straight down, rightly or wrongly but the refs always give those, just never seems to happen in the box.

    Amazing.

I've been told that he's been offered a contract.

That's by someone who is normally reliable.

haha god knows then just wait and see could be a case of he was told he was'nt being offered one, but has proven Pearson wrong and now will be
