Is it no wonder the club don't communicate much, the majority on here wanted them to speak they did and ok the 1st 2 minute interview was crap, and not at all what we deserved, they then do an interview with Radio Bristol reveal a little bit more of their thinking which they've explained was down to the injuries and time off over the international break and still that's not good enough for people. I loved Nigel and what he did for us in his time here, but i just feel there has been a huge over reaction to this. I'm not really sure what people want them to say.

Cant wait for this to be shut down by Bristol live, just for us to do the same thing with both Luke Williams and Liam manning. 4 large rumours, 4 shortened odds. One new HC. Curtis Fleming.
Given up fantasising that the board will make decent decisions anymore.
Post now reporting Lampard is not under consideration

The sun reporting that Lampard set to return to management with Us. As its the sun we can assume it wont be him.

Did one of them have a pack of crayons? This would completely change the dynamic of this.
No crayons were seen.

I heard 2 fans talking on the way out of the ground last night that Pearson had tried to get rid of Mehmeti in the summer QPR wanted him (Ainsworth obviously had him at Wycombe) but the deal fell through at the last minute
I didn't hear why and obviously this is just 2 people chatting so could be utter rubbish.

Thought it was a good game, Ipswich were a decent side, and always looked capable of holding on the the lead, we just lacked that quality to get the goal, if cornicks shot goes in we would've gained a decent point. Hopefully the injuries picked up aren't to serious, but we are in danger of these really affecting our season.

Will defo give this a listen when it comes out Martin Scott is the 1st player I can remember in a city shirt, can just about remember Andy Leaning.

Purchased from me and my son (10) also. It’s his first ever away game.
Hope we get to give them a 1st away win too.

Had a listen to this episode yesterday, interesting listen about his time at city and how he joined us, I really enjoy the episodes I've listened pretty much to all of them now, It just makes you realise that we have as fans no idea
what goes on behind the scenes and hat players have going on in their lives, Jeff Winter( ex ref), Gary Roberts, Keith Treacy, Graham Westley episodes are worth a listen and the Dorking Wanderers story is incredible too.

Purchased ours today, 1st away game for me this season and my sons 1st ever away game also never been to Loftus Road so that will be interesting just by looking at some of the comments about it.

I'm Sorry to read people's posts of people they love taking their own lives, I've thankfully never had this happen to anyone I know, though i do know people who have had thoughts and I've even have had them myself.
It's so important to keep talking about this and raising awareness around mental health. The more people who keep talking about it are people who can make a difference I've shared my story on twitter or X as its now known
the support I got was incredible. Please if anyone is struggling reach out I know it's tough but just getting things off your chest really helps. or even if you write how you are feeling down it can make a big difference. I found once I
Had written things down it made more sense or better understanding of why I was feeling a certain way. Sending hugs to whoever needs them and even those who don't.

Was just coming on to raise awareness around this today, so pleased to see clubs sharing awareness around it, and today of all days I'm having a tough one, not really sure why but hopefully it will pass soon. Hope everyone is doing ok

I don't know why I'm writing this post really.
I suppose I feel as if I'm someone that's okay most of the time and that I can always cope with whatever life throws at me.
But at the moment I'm going out of my mind with worry whilst trying to put a smile on for everyone. I feel as if I don't want to worry anyone with my problems.
Recently I was really unwell in hospital. During my stay they did a CT scan. Ive recovered from what I was in hospital so that is all good.
However during the CT scan they found a nodule on my thyroid that measures 2.8 x 2.3 cm. The hospital sent my GP a letter asking for them to refer me for a ultrasound scan.
This is probably the 1st time I've ever really worried about my health and I just can't stop worrying. I've got all sorts going through my mind.
I contacted my GP today to ask if the referral had been made for the ultrasound and surprise surprise it hadn't been done which has just made me worry even more. The fact out NHS is failing worries me greatly.
When I was in hospital a few weeks back, I first presented myself at Weston hospital. After a few hours they said I needed to be transferred to the BRI.
With a temp over 40 and a high heart rate, they told me I'd have to make my own way there. Didn't give me any medication or anything.
I got the bus up to Bristol. When I walked into the BRI I immediately collapsed due to my high temperature. The notes Weston had sent me with were not worth the paper they were written on.
My stay in the BRI wasn't pleasant either. Constantly moved around. Staff very rude and lacking any bedside manner and uninformative.
I just needed to get all that off my chest really.
Ah shit man sounds like a really rough time, I notice at the top you said you don't know why your writing this, well without realising you've done the best thing because you've got it off your chest, I had a visit to hospital a few years back, that was a pretty scary time I caught sepsis, that was the 1st time I'd ever worried about my health too.
I think it's a perfectly reasonable reaction that you are worrying. Obviously I don't know fully what you're worrying about. Have you anyone you can really trust that you can speak too and just explain that you don't need advice or suggestions but you need to get it out, I find when I share problems or my thoughts people try to do that with me and it makes me not want to talk about it.
The NHS is really shit atm clearly. And it's awful you've had that experience like that I was in weston general for a couple of nights ( I've moved back to Bristol now) and the staff were very nice, but that was just after covid, I can imagine things aren't good in there.
Always here if you need a chat buddy

Amazing what a positive result does. Just praying we turn the home form around

Question around nige, he hates players running contracts down, yet his will come to an end this season, now he may not have been offered one, but with a manager being out of contract at the end of the season how can we plan for next season or even for january without knowing who the manager will be ?
also around Zak vyner, also being out of contract will we be a position where nige does what he did with Bentley and massengo and drops vyner because of his contract situation? I actually don't think things are as bad as some people are making out, although 1 or 2 more injuries and we will be in big trouble. We win against Swansea and that's IF and its not been a terrible start for us really.

Genuine question to anyone - are we evolving ? Are we any better now then we were 12 months ago? If anything it looks like we have gone backwards. I don’t think we had a shot on target today
Have certain players improved?
I swear all we see are clubs like Birmingham, who were an absolute car crash of a club - go through their transition and then go gliding past us
I think we are but very slowly there certainly are players who have improved but there are some that haven't. The club has spent far to much and Pearson has had to pick up the pieces of that. It takes time but you don't get time these days sadly.
One thing that you can't argue with is the players have always given 100% under Pearson....today that wasn't evident and that's what worries me. Its only 3 games I know and the window is still open but the way Pearson has been talking sounds to me like we won't be getting anyone in. If we don't I really fear for us.

You didn't see Birmingham away last season?
No didn't go to that one. I still believe in Pearson but that was worrying
-
Probably the worst performance I've seen under Pearson, we offered nothing at all. The players looked diviod of confidence. Or any belief on what the plan was. Worrying times

Only just seen this, what wonderful support, as someone who struggles mentally myself. It's great to see there are lots of people willing to help, mens mental health is not addressed enough imo, I'm active on twitter to raise awareness around it if ever anyone needs a chat please message I will always respond. Never suffer alone.

My mum spoke to a few of the players, and they told her that they have been given tomorrow off, but they had to train again this afternoon so I'm guessing that's why it was a small window to fit everyone in as they said they must he done by 3pm

My mum has taken my nephew and son down there she's sent some pics through. I have no idea who comes up with this plan. Seems chaotic.
