  1. I think we are in trouble unless we can bring a few players in to freshen things up. Without it I cannot see the current squad good enough to stay up. All the teams around us, meanwhile, are able to strengthen which they are doing.
  2. Stagnating. No improvement and week by week sinking in to League 1.
  3. How much longer can this be left to carry on. Something must change
  4. Well three points above the relegation zone in January. Hopefully it is still a work in progress for SL.
  5. A healthy and happy New Year to all City fans. COYR. Let's start with 3 points tomorrow.
  6. It is a shame when it is at the expense of Nahki Wells though.
  7. Very pleased to be wrong and great that we met the physical challenge. A good point at a tough venue. I do not criticise Pearson for the sake of it and defended him for a long time. And hope we get through this season successfully. But as to your comment about a lot has changed, we are three pints above relegation and to me that doesn't represent a great deal of progress since he came here.
  8. Cannot understand how he has replaced Wells. Makes no sense at all.
  9. I think Pearson has had long enough.I listen to his interviews and they make sense but on the pitch it is the same time and time again. Too often defensive chaos and gifting goals to the opposition on a regular basis. I cannot understand why Pearson, a good defender in his day and vastly experienced manager cannot resolve these issue. I believed in him and argued on here many times on his behalf. But nothing has changed. We are heading for relegation. Currently the only thing that will save us is if there are three teams worse than us. You cannot sit back with Pearson and rely on that. I don't think it will happen and like most on here Lansdown cannot be trusted to get someone in to sort it out. But doing nothing is not the answer. I hope we win tonight and go on a decent run but I cannot see it.
  10. Do you really think that a new CEO will change how the players perform against Millwall. I think it is wishful thinking. I think they will be bullied and well beaten as normal. Nothing has changed under Pearson. Same problems unresolved week in week out. But as always I hope I am wrong.COYR.
  11. Do we need a manager in charge at this crucial time that does not seem capable of resolving long term issues of defence and is leading us to relegation. Or do we keep him because it might take some time to replace him. Hardly a reason to keep someone in a job.
  12. The reason we keep Managers when they are failing is due to Steve Lansdown. He will keep Pearson until we are in the relegation zone or start getting heavily beaten at home. Otherwise he will let Pearson blunder on and on.
  13. Sack. It isn't working. Whoever takes over at least it will lead to some change. Without a change we are going down.
  14. Makes you wonder who City will get in as a CEO. Why would anybody any good want to run this shit show orchestrated by a Manager who now seems well past his sell by date. If the the Board, sorry Steve Lansdown, cared he would take action now in getting rid of Pearson. In January start a new CEO and Manager and hope they can revitalise the team and give supporters something to get excited about. Otherwise we are sleep walking in to League 1.
  15. Pearson has got to go. Nothing he has done or is doing justifies him keeping his job.
  16. The problem is we are still a sinking ship. Nothing has changed and he cannot seem to do anything about it.
  17. Inspired or bloody stupid. I tend to think the latter.
  18. Happy Christmas everyone and all the best for next year.
  19. Great news. He has been a credit to himself and the club. And I guess also he has been a great help in the development of Conway.
  20. Well I think it is quite possible we could go down. Nothing has changed since we gifted goals away at the start of the season. We cannot keep relying on 3 teams worse than us to bail us out.
  21. I do not think " floundering in the relegation zone" is that far away. Pearson's post match interviews always highlight the issues but seldom do we ever hear or see the solutions to the recurring issues the team has. He has proved unable to solve them. How long do we watch the team sinking in to the relegation zone before something is done about it.
  22. I cannot see why anyone would be prepared to spend significant money for him at the moment. He couldn't score before the world cup, fluffed a good chance during the world cup and now he is back he looks as bad as before he went.
