  1. I am not melting down. Just disappointed. Thought we could have shown some steel and that we were up for it from the first whistle. But with a goal so early arguably it could be over.
  2. A lot of the time we seem to chase players that are known talents at Championship level. And are obviously wanted by other Championship clubs eg Azaz and Twine. When we get a comparatively unknown talent at a good price eg Szmodics. We never play him and sell him off. And now he is the Championship leading scorer when have such a weak attack. The only sure thing is , if it can be screwed up then City always manage to do it
  3. Does anyone remember those those white Frido footballs with raised dots on them. They were so light that on a windy day you could shoot towards goal and let the wind would do the rest.
  4. Occasionally hope rear it's head, even to those who have seen it all before, but it never hangs around for too long.
  5. Spend some bloody money and get some quality up front. Because what we have is not fit for purpose.
  6. I would be happy if Conway got one from open play today.
  7. Great to see that Alex Scott has scored today. He will just get better and better the more he plays.
  8. Needs another job not football related. Selling double glazing comes to mind.
  9. I wonder what poor club will fall for his unique brand of bullshit next. League 2 or National League or is that it.
  10. Sincere condolences on this tragic loss Rest in Peace.
  11. Merry Christmas and a Happy and healthy New Year to everyone on here. However much we disagree at times and however different we all are we are bound together by Bristol City. Whether the team are good or bad we are behind them. COYR
  12. He is f'ing useless. He brushes over genuine concerns of supporters and is unable to deal with factual questions like the question over the accounts.
  13. It would seem to me that Ashton is managed at Ipswich as opposed to the lack of oversight when he was here .Jon Lansdown was playing with crayons all day and Steve had turned his back on the running of the club. At Ipswich they use Ashton's talents but control it and ensure he follows their plan.
  14. I cannot understand the logic of assessing a player by how much he costs compared to his ability. Cornick in my view is not good enough to be a Championship player and crucially seldom scores goals. The fact he only cost 300k means we haven't wasted a lot of money but does not change the fact he is not good enough.
  15. I remember the show where teams could chose how many questions they wanted to score a goal. Route 1 was really hard question down to route 5 I think for 5 easy ones. Teams were players from the clubs and a guest supporter usually a celebrity of some sort.Anyone remember it and what it was called.
  16. O'Leary is first name on the team sheet because there is no competition. And I am sure my memory fails me but when was the last time he was left out.
  17. I would have said his long throw was the only thing he offers. Nothing else he does is up to the standard needed in the Championship. Hopefully we will sign some strikers in the future and we can off load him.
  18. Hard to have a lot of sympathy for the BBC when the likes of Lineker is paid over a million a year.
  19. Not surprised at all. The support and atmosphere generated at away games is great and far more enjoyable than home games.
  20. Agreed. If we only had a striker who could put away the chances we are creating then things would look a lot different. One only hopes Nahki is back soon and bang in form. Because our current fit strikers are not fit for purpose at the moment.
  21. It always has been Lansdown, so many bad decisions time and time again. In terms of Managers not just the selection but backing the wrong ones with money and starving the right ones of it. Allowing Ashton to spend his time planning his move to Ipswich and who he was going to take whilst being our CEO. Just look how well he has done at Ipswich with owners with drive and ambition and proper oversight of his performance. All the while Jon his direct line manager was playing with his crayons. The only person our anger should be aimed at is Lansdown. The trouble is he doesn't give a sh1t.
