I agree. But I suppose given the incompetence Lansdown has shown in picking Managers then this latest fiasco just shows how totally unsuited he is, in making decisions that benefit the club in footballing terms.
Absolutely right. The only way we are destined under Lansdown is League 1. If Pearson goes and we continue to sell the best young players we produce it is inevitable.
Like you I hope Ashton gets his comeuppance at some point. But in spite of signing a lot of players I didn't think the Ipswich wage bill was that high compared to other Championship clubs and they get 27000 at most home games.
I have to say I find it a bit disingenuous to suggest SL is aware of the mistakes he has made. Because if he had such awareness why would he have continued to make them over such a long period.
