  1. I wouldn't at all be shocked to see Tins move up into a senior role if Gould is to leave. He's obviously got admirers from afar and we may offer him something in order to keep him. Tins just re-tweeted a previous tweet of his "22 years, 1 club. Many more to come".
  2. No desire to win that game. Massengo's awareness to forward passes is awful. Missed 3 or 4 opportunities to move the ball forward quickly. We looked happy with a draw at 60 minutes.
  3. Really frustrating to watch again. We are so slow in possession. Massengo in particular seems to take an age to pass the ball. I've lost count of how many times we have attempted to cross the ball to Dasilva. I think Jay's won a grand total of 2 headers during his entire career. When teams sit back into a low-block, we seem to run out of ideas. Semenyo was practically a centre midfielder during that half. We had the bulk of possession, but did absolutely nothing with it.
  4. Why are we so consistently poor from corners? Constantly seem to play it short all the time. Seems like a waste of a good opportunity.
  5. Agreed. Tonight is a big opportunity for Kadji IF he gets minutes. We will see the squad required in the upcoming games. And as Nige has shown previously, if they perform, they will retain their place.
  6. I think Semenyo will start in place of Conway tonight. Massengo/king will take Scott's place due to suspension. Kadji potentially on the bench tonight after missing the 21's game. I'm going for 2-1 tonight.
  7. I've mentioned it previously, but the correct way to use Martin is to protect a lead. Not being him on and revert to long ball when chasing a game. Semenyo and Wells looked to be putting QPR under pressure early on in the second half. Semenyo was having some luck by picking the ball up and driving at the defence. Martin was brought on, and both Semenyo and Wells were then pushed out wide. It nullified all of our threat. I would also question why a natural wing back, who has been waiting for an opportunity, gets subbed on and pushed back into a right back role.
  8. Chasing a game and we keep trusting Vyner to lump it 60 yards into the box, straight into the keepers arms each time. I don't think the subs helped at all today. The Martin sub took away all momentum we had built. Which in turn, made us go long-ball for the remaining 30 minutes. Game management needs to improve when chasing a game.
  9. Tommy is set to be promoted to the senior Scotland team according to Alan Nixon. Not the most reliable in terms of transfers surrounding us. However, he does tend to get most of the northern news correct. Great news for Tommy if true. What a season he's having.
  10. Matty James is struggling today. Getting bypassed every time.
  11. The irony their fans shouting 'hoof' every time we make a clearance. They spent almost 10 years playing that style of football in the Prem.
  12. The value on City win + BTTS is always good. 7-1 is a steal.
  13. It's the perfect scenario for us currently. Conway and Wells are both bang in form, and although he's back fit, it allows Semenyo to fully get up to speed and reduce the chances of the injury re-occuring. He missed pre-season, and has the chance to re-build himself at a sensible pace. How many times in the past have we put them back in too early and they get injured again? I have no doubt he will get back into the starting 11, and stay there. Let's enjoy the options we have available to us. We are very lucky with the options we have.
  14. Bar the opening 25 minutes in the first half, I thought we were very good tonight. This team seems to have a bit of everything. Of course it's a shame to lose the game tonight, but we showed what we can do as a team. As I mentioned on a separate post, if we can stop the individual errors, we will be in the mix this season.
  15. Glad I backed a 3-2 win both ways. Put £5 on city 3-2 and £5 on Norwich 3-2. £100 returned.
  16. Extremely entertaining game. My word what a team we look to have. We outplayed a very good side tonight. If we can cut out the mistakes, we will take some stopping this season. On a side note, game management needs to improve. Last minute of injury time, chasing an equaliser and we play it short before Bentley can even get up the pitch.
  17. A big test, but not impossible. The Norwich line-up is ultra attacking, which will leave gaps. We can get at them, especially with the quality we have in attack. I predict goals for both teams. One team could win 3-2.
  18. That's a fantastic job your landscaper has done there.
  19. I can't help but feel like the FA have made the wrong decision here. The lack of consistency is questionable. So I can go to work today, and teach my PE lessons all day. However, if I were to coach a grassroots team that's now not allowed to go ahead? This morning we paid tribute during an assembly with a montage of positive moments of the queen's reign. Then held a two minute silence. However, after that, I was expected to go back to doing my job. The football could quite easily have done the same, on a much bigger scale.
  20. This was the team that made me fall in love with city as a young kid. Tommy Doc was my hero as a kid. Tinnion and Bell were great to watch.
  21. My worry also. I think it's more possible than some may think. He has a fantastic relationship with their owners still to this day. He was at the opening ceremony of their new training ground last year, after being personally invited by their chairman. Some managers click at certain clubs, and Pearson is certainly well-suited to Leicester. I really hope it doesn't happen, but I wouldn't rule it out.
  22. It's a funny old game isn't it? At the end of last season, I thought our front 3 was one of the best in the league (Martin, Semenyo and Weimann). Fast forward to the start of this season, and two members of last season's trio (Semenyo and Martin) are on the bench, whilst we have a wealth of options who are all contributing with goals and assists. Credit to every single one of them. All playing their part, and all seem capable of partnering eachother. Really feels that something special is happening.
  23. He was fantastic today. Looked very comfortable throughout.
  24. Think we are good value today. We are comfortable in possession, playing well in the wide areas. Alex Scott looks fantastic today. Another goal for Conway is a huge bonus. The only slight complaint is that we probably should have scored more than 1.
