  1. Around what I thought, roughly 50% concessions with most being in the under age brackets from observation inside the ground.. Lots of future supporters.
  2. The concourses, sports bar, and outside facilities are up there with the best imo. There are some that look better, more complete, but the location and facilities may not compare to Ashton Gate.
  3. 100%. I was struggling to see why a loan to buy makes sense, but given your first paragraph it makes perfect sense.
  4. It'll be interesting to see the breakdown of our ST and member sales. I seem to remember reading that we had similar u-12 ST sales as their total ST sales. The only figures I can see published were the total ST sales of 15k, but no figures for half ST and memberships (something around 6k memberships I read on here).
  5. Good signing (fingers crossed that its a done deal), gives us many options for the team with McCrorie like a new signing as well. It'll also be interesting to see how quickly Murphy adapts - looking forward to seeing him play. Twine loves a long shot doesn't he, could do with that in the team.
  6. Vyner as captain would be like Fontaine revisited imo.
  7. I like Piercy and would say that he doesn't deal in bullshite and can only print what he's heard. But I still can't see anyone actually paying 5m for Twine. Anyone reporting a loan yet ?
  8. I've seen 5m stated, but don't believe it for one minute.
  9. Again, where is it stated (other than social media/papers) that it is a loan and where is it stated its 5m ?
  10. Where did 5m come from ? Is that the confirmed fee for him ? Or just forum talk.
  11. Cracking little player, scored a beaut against us at AG I remember.
  12. I wouldn't doubt it. But for us....poor thus far.
  13. Quite funny seeing Joe pull rank on TGH over free kicks - on what planet does he think he is better ? Twine has scored a few long range goals including free kicks, so with him and TGH we may be well stocked in that area for once (if he's signing of course).
  14. I think we all know what they mean, which is the main thing.
  15. Its a tough run of games for sure, including Watford who will be up for the game. TBH, I can't see any points from that lot. (My predictions are shite, so that should give us a leg up).
  16. I would think Manning is pushing hard to get him in. But I suspect the fee Burnley want and the amount JL is willing to pay is too far apart even if both sides make compromises. This is where people like Ashton and Gould earn their money. Absolutely delighted to be proven wrong, but I just feel that we don't have anyone on board that can get the sort of players we need through the door.
  17. I think the reason may be that if a person is getting some life saving attention and a team scores, there is bedlam around that person which could affect getting the person moved when time could be of the essence. I'm not sure that abandonment is appropriate if said person is on the way to hospital, but it just may be an act of respect for the person and those that witnessed the event ?
  18. The only thing I'd disagree with there is that I don't think Knight had a quiet or poor game. I thought he was the pick today and was in the thick of everything. He's not the most technical of players, but his energy and movement is very good and he always gets a few shots off every game.
  19. Tend to agree. I think TC will go (ball is firmly in his court) if we persist in playing the way Manning wants. Its not his game and doesn't play to his strengths. Not good to watch it play out. (can't see Knight leaving)
  20. I would think they are desperate for promotion to the EPL. Unfortunately, they have absolutely no idea of how to get promotion. Selling your best players season after season and not getting anywhere near replacing them, simply hoping for another Scott to come along to decrease the debts largely of their making, isn't exactly a smart plan for promotion. Its treading water, which means going backwards and watching others pass us by.
  21. Another great insight from the great little thinker that is Socrates on their "forum" "We were the better team but our inability to score our chances and stop their shots cost us." Condensed version - if we don't score and they do we'll lose. Brilliant.
