Watched few vids from the game this morning and on one of them the commentator went well overboard on the "Premiership quality" of their goal from the excellent build up to the finish. Didn't say too much about Conways goal though or the excellent build up. I think it was the BBC round up on youtube. Par for the course - but where do they get these blokes from ?

I saw it quite differently. I certainly didn't see us setting up as 5-4-1 and didn't notice Bell being a RWB, maybe we did that in defending early on as we were under the cosh a bit, but I didn't see us being set up like that tbh.

I would say I was surprised at 60k+ but £10 a ticket gets a lot of arses off the sofa. If it was £20, would it make 45k ?

So far Jack Griffin 16yo, Jack Hooper 17yo, and Adam Murphy 18yo confirmed. Academy prospects, although Murphy has good experience in the Irish League and I'd expect him to be integrated into the 1st team squad asap. Missed out on Azzaz which indicates we are in for some more experienced players.

Incidentally, I saw on Linkedin that Dave Barton has left as head of Comms for Bristol CIty to Head up Comms for Bristol Sport (or is it old news). They're looking for a replacement. My feeling is that JL wants the opportunity to run the club without the input of SL and that is what is now happening with no CEO and NP sacked. No one to challenge him. He gets his trusted mate to be a trainee CEO and Technical Director. I've a lot of time for Tinnion and the job he's done at the Academy (with some good people also doing some great work), but I'm wary that his current position may be asking a bit too much of him, but more than willing to be proven wrong. And does JL have the experience to be master of all trades ? Unfortunately not in my opinion, he needs some experienced people around him.

Careful, someone once called an ex-manager a non-league manager and got called in to have a word about it....
