Maybe there should be a system whereby a season card holder can easily let the club know they won't be attending so that seat becomes available for POTD. Mayb an incentive would be to recompense the card holder with a tenner while charging the full price for POTD. Sorry if already mentioned in the thread.

Mehmeti certainly started off as AM or CM at Wycombe but in his last season it was a bit mixed with games at AM, LW, or LM (according to TransferMarkt). I see he brought something new to the game - the disadvantage rule. It works by playing advantage for a maximum of 5 seconds when the player is surrounded by opposition players, then once the ball has been turned over after said 5 seconds, allow the opposition to break up the pitch to create a goal scoring opportunity. Or book a player for slipping on the soaking turf. He was abysmal - for both sides.

Agreed. But Williams has played well when he's come in. Nothing but rotation as I see it, no favourtism and no unfair selections whatsoever, we also don't have access to the players fitness levels which, given all the tech available, the manager will have. Having said all that, I'd have TGH start every game if it were possible.

Yep, its very frustrating when you see an easy 10 yard pass on and he lumps it upfield straight to the opposition. I was hoping Manning would at least get him to do less of it, but he keeps doing it. I fail to see how we can expect to play the way LM is advocating with Max in goal. He gifts the opposition the ball consistently and is slow to release it. All other aspects are fine and he's improved with age, but his distribution is awful, not good enough and he's had enough time to sort it out.

Thanks for that, another good balanced report. Knight deserved a goal, possibly the best I've seen from him. But Max was woeful in his distribution, Tanners crossing is erratic, Pring is a shadow of what he was, Bell is ineffective at the moment. But Mehmeti looked much more confident and caused them a few problems. Blackburn looked exactly as expected, very quick accurate passing, front foot football, but their defence isn't the best and we didn't have enough to take advantage. A lot of questions to be answered for LM between now and saturday.

I understand their new owners are property developers. Should be interesting when they get fed up of chucking money down the drain every week..
