  1. "supporters" on the pitch at Charlton and their own keeper assaulted by a "supporter". Reports of racial abuse of one of their players by a "supporter". Their forum in melt down. Not going too well up there. Maybe Ashton should do a few high fiving runs around the ground to get them onside - it worked before after all.
  2. Wonder if he still has his baseball cap business as well. Edit: Seems not, but he does have a myriad of other business ventures.
  3. He was lazy and, at the end, totally unprofessional. Glad to see the back of the lump.
  4. The relevant bit highlighted. Unfortunately, he couldn't be arsed to bring that to the pitch as often as he should have done and certainly not in his latter days here. Glad to see the back of him tbh.
  5. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/arthur-labinjo-hughes-mum-jail-salt-b1969351.html
  6. I think Tommy Conway is fit to play. I'd like to see him get some time on the pitch, he's got a lot to offer imo, looks a very bright prospect and appears to be an intelligent footballer. Works his socks off for the team as well.
  7. Its up there with "I was suddenly took drunk m'lord"
  8. I had the same team in the other thread with exceptions of Tanner and James coming in if they are fit for Vyner and Bakinson. Could be 4-1-2-3, 4-4-2, or 3-5-2 . I reckon (hope) that Semenyo is a nailed on starter, he may still be a bit raw but he can unsettle any defence. COD looks to have found some confidence and form so I think he'll get a game - could link up well with Pring. Time to rest Martin and freshen things up a bit, but I can't see NP resting Martin.
  9. Hull - won four on the trot, scoring 7 and conceding 1. Away at Reading saturday. Given the current situation, its a hell of a long way to travel to probably see us get stuffed. Can't see past 300 max travelling.
  10. Well, he might need to come on after 5 minutes.
  11. He doesn't "present an argument", he just sounds off on a game by game basis imo. Knee jerker. He's the bloke in the pub that you try to have a conversation with and realise that it isn't going to happen as its only his voice and opinion that he's interested in and you give him a swerve afterwards.
  12. But only won 4 and scored 16 goals - 2nd lowest in the division with Hull.
  13. Odds on that Semenyo will start. How far off is Tanner ? James should be ok ? COD has done ok so far and gives an outlet to get further up the pitch. But Scott as a LWB isn't working imo. Not his fault, but he isn't comfortable there, play him as a wide forward or central. Same for Benarous. If Tanner is fit (doubtful), then he plays, Vyner if not. Massengo not in form, but rather him than Bakinson imo. 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2 and could go 3-5-2 with Pring moving central and COD into RWB .......................Bentley Tanner Kalas Atkinson Pring .....................Massengo ..........Scott James O'Dowda ............Weimann Semenyo Needs to be freshened up and I think Tanner, James, Pring, and Semenyo will be unaffected by any negative stuff thats gone on before. TBF, COD is in reasonable form and Scott doesn't seem to be affected.
  14. If that is what he said, then maybe so. But he didn't did he.
  15. Having James, Williams, King, and Tanner not available didn't help. It left us with a very young and lightweight midfield that offered no protection to the defence, nothing going forward, and basically got ripped a new one. Having Bakinson back to ambling around and bottling challenges and the team not being able to string two passes together also didn't help. Only positives for me were Vyner and O'Dowda having good games, with Kalas and Baker (hope hes ok) not far behind. Massengo was busy but left gaps all over the place, Scott and Benarous were not at the races (although both gave 100% commitment). Martin and Weimann not in the game and didn't do to much to try to get in it imo. Ref was a ****. Hard watch today............again.
  16. Bakinson not yet in the game and not committed to challenges, Massengo all over the place - not in a good way either. No midfield really, the goal was predictable. Very disappointing and poor performance so far.
  17. I was the same up until 2 or 3 seasons ago when the food was actually quite good, the pies were very good and quite a lot of choice. Particularly liked the sheep pie or the curry pie. Now they've changed supplier its back to crap, so no chance of me buying anything inside the stadium - might have a pint if we have time, but generally not. Don't mind some of the stuff in the fans village and we do buy, but much more likely to spend money in North street pre-match. Shame, its definitely gone backwards.
  18. He followed that up with a handful of his shirt on his shoulder. Penalty my arse.
