  1. I'd be surprised if COD has scored much more than 20 goals in his career.
  2. https://cjcomputing.com Where the multi-million pounds turnover of Ashton Gate gets its IT support - a shop in W-O-T with a 20 year old web site
  3. I've just watched a full recording of the game having missed it yesterday (flying home from hols....unfortunately). I was very impressed with Pring, especially first half - if there was a MOM award for just that half, he'd get it from me. I really liked his game. NP has also showed great faith in young players like Scott, Massengo, Conway, and Bell. I really don't think that would have happened previously, they'd have been out on loan for a few seasons. Also the new players he's brought in are in the team, not out on loan or watching from the stands, no wastage. Watching the team develop is really good, there'll be the odd hiccup like Millwall where I fancied us to get 3 points, but you don't get 3 points with one shot on target. And there'll be the times where we are outplayed, but the team is developing nicely. Just got to get the monkey off the back re home wins. I wanted NP in when Holden got the job and I'm really glad he's now here.
  4. I agree with all 3 points. He doesn't use his body to protect the ball or push opponents around and ends up on his arse more often than not, he needs to watch Martin in that respect to pick up a few pointers. I've been banging on for years for him to play with his head up, but no consistent sign of it. The amount of times I've seen him bomb forward, stop, then go back resulting in no end product. But by most accounts he had a decent game today and got some good crosses in. Maybe the penny has dropped and I truly hope it has because its holding him back imho.
  5. That first touch for Wells winner against QPR was sublime..
  6. This was one of the things I was looking out for last night Its one thing being busy against the likes of QPR and Fulham, but if it were the same against Millwall I would have been concerned that we're not improving defensively. As it happens, he had 3 shots to contend with and made two saves out of Millwalls total of 11 attempts (which is about their average this season). More concerning was we had just one shot on target and that needs correcting asap. And again lost when we had the most possession. Work in progress.
  7. From 16/1 to 25/1 for the 2-0 with mainstream bookies.
  8. It was 60/40 against him and heart in mouth moment. Neither backed out and both got up straight away which was good to see. I think its fair to say that he likes a tackle.
  9. Agreed, some just notice the ones the opposition have and missed, but ignore our own chances missed. The first chance Wells had was a miskick from Kalas throw in - certain goal if he didn't have his laces tied together. He had a volley from a cross which could/should have gone in, and the third was a header that he should have got on target. Another day, a hat trick. Also Baker had a couple of chances with one a free header that should have been scored imo - he headed it in the right direction across the goal but just a tad too high. We had our chances as well as them and should have been playing against 10 men before half time. With the money they've spent on players I expected them to dictate the game, which they did to an extent, but not to the level they probably expected. Their manager summed them up for me when he was banging on about our offside goal - no mention about the non sending off of his player which would probably have shifted the game in our favour or about his teams shit finishing. Fully deserved point for City.
  10. GMG isn't around at the moment and his boss didn't give a rating for Pearson.
  11. Undoubtedly offside. I think the lino didn't see Palmer as he was directly in line with Weimann from his perspective, when Palmer went for the ball the Fulham defenders were back, with number 6 in line with him. Ref was behind play so couldn't give it offside. God knows how KP managed to squeeze that ball between the post and keeper. The team deserved that bit of luck.
  12. Was it not his shot that the keeper saved only for Palmer to score ?
  13. I have had issues about 30% of the time with the TV service and, bar the odd occasion where I have caved in due to nothing else being available (rare), have given up on it. Sometimes it is very good, other times its crap with not a lot of chance of getting the money back (given up on that too). Nothing wrong with my set up at all. Only used the audio "service" once and it simply cut out with about 15 minutes of the match left as if someone had just switched it off. Couldn't be arsed to chase them for £2.50, just won't use it again. I have the option of watching the game on RobinsTV today as I'm in Lanzarote for a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure about the service at all, so it may be a stream from somewhere or Soccer Saturday in a bar with a cold pint.
  14. Nearly 5/1 (19/4) on a City win with Skybet - and drifting ! https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/bristol-city-v-fulham/winner
  15. Been running for years, but not on an official basis.
  16. TBF with the opposition hitting the back of them time after time, they are going to look a bit crap.
  17. Difficult debut for Tanner against a team who I think will be top 6 at least. And, as others have said, the shape of the team didn't help him with all their attacks down his side, he didn't have a great deal of support. He looked a bit shell shocked at the start and some termed it out of his depth, but he grew into the game and did ok. Big jump from L2 to Loftus Road. Deserves a start against Fulham imo, get a few games under his belt.
  18. I'm not sure anyone has said that tbf. There has been improvement, but tonight is a huge step backwards. That first half was shite, a bit of effort and thats it - the minimum requirement.
  19. Just about to post very similar. NP must be the only bloke in the world that thinks Vyner and Baker are full backs.
  20. Reminds me of last season tbh. Still, 45 minute to put it right.
