  1. RIP Fellow Red Keep the red flag flying high
  2. Sure Was just thinking it's a subject thread never out of date as it’s about the future and a little about now without creating another sub forum where the informative posts may still get lost I was thinking more a pinned thread where , for example last nights report or a Pete Hinton or Tom Sutton type overview could be reposted / quoted or whichever on the pinned thread , either by the op or someone else seeing value in it ,for a bit of a evolving overview archive / of the up and coming age groups And it would be interesting to look back at over the seasons to come ! Just an idea and dependent on others and of course mostly mod views
  3. Excellent , thankyou Always good to hear people’s thoughts and overview of the up and coming And Well done the lads - good win and no mean achievement to get to ? 1/4 finals ? Mods ( @phantom ?) would it be possible to consider either a ‘Age groups / Academy’ pinned thread where some of these excellent posts and overviews like @petehintonand @TomSutton and others have compiled recently about the up and coming age groups, could be added - Always find them interesting and help fill a knowledge or understanding gap of mine , and probably many others) Sometimes you want to go back and reread them when a name comes up or appears in first team squad and it’s not easy to relocate them (And that the effort that’s gone into them , the information , eventually gets lost and wasted as such) Any post in any thread that gives good information , overviews , about any of the age groups could be quoted to link them at least on the pinned thread and it would be an interesting read and source of anyone interested and an interesting read back as their careers evolve ?
  4. Assume then Dave that with age , history not that far apart it’s not a million miles away from what we’d get (If no agreed compo) for TC if he went to Scotland OOC ?
  5. Not true , we could meet them in the Final
  6. Proper ‘Cornish Mist’ conditions - love it
  7. And it is another 180 miles return travel
  8. The only thing that could have made it even funnier is if Little Lee had still been in charge * * Not that it was ever very likely to last that long
  9. You say that Graham , but it has put a dent in their play off charge
  10. First away win for Fleetwood since October The gift that keeps giving.....
  11. Had to slow laughing before posting What an enjoyable evening , the icing on the cake so to speak
  12. It was a Lansdown appointment that surprised , but delighted me tbh Didn’t NP make initial, contact / interest ? Even so however he came to make that eventual appointment - for once it he got it absolutely right on what we needed at that point, and as a Club for a long time , but maybe unable to recognise that his approach working with a NP may need some compromises and change Or maybe he was ruthless enough to know that eventually there would be a clash , but hey ho I thought and will always think that NP , and Rennie etc were perfect managers/ leaders of the football side and core , whilst he as he didn’t get any younger , and day to day involvement and driving interest had maybe faded a bit , with his son who even he must realise absolutely needs some ‘guiding’ and experienced proven help along the man in charge path ....... to be pretty safe hands at least to gradually build something ...... Not only the binning of that , but the appointment as well , are another couple of , at least ‘strange’ , Lansdown moments
  13. Great initiative and long overdue And what @Silvio Dante says about a museum
  14. ‘You’re going in the river’ One for the old uns and a few would have a breakdown if that was ever sung , probably make the nationals
  15. You forgot ‘Churchman’ , Dave , or whatever the marsh dweller calls himself
  16. But one million per cent what they needed , to stop the ship sinking Good they recognised what he did and repaid him
  17. Not a great piece of gossip , and highly likely to be untrue , about a very young player to be throwing around though
  18. I think he has direct communication from the players themselves #TextTheSage
  19. Not sure he hasn’t got a pad north of the border - heard him say how much they love Scotland and spend time there , and he’s been close to getting jobs (Including Rangers IIRC ) in the past
  20. Tho Going out on loan to FGR for rest of season is the word on the street * On a serious note , Tom , due to age demographic , and knowledge and sensible views is a good bit of recruitment and provides another angle
  21. It was a cracking moment and goal but so many brilliant memories Huddersfield home Cardiff away Swansea away Birmingham away Overhead kick v Birmingham home Happy Days ️
