Lower tier at Loftus Road is great.

I am clearly in the minority, but I really liked my trip to Loftus Road. The atmosphere was good even though we lost and I liked how close it felt to the pitch. Much better than the King Power Stadium.

Agree with this,  he loved showing off his skills on Soccer AM, think it was the "showboat".. and he always appeared on this part of the show while playing for Swansea.  Expected that just to continue when he signed for BC and to score loads of goals but he was asked to be a team player when he preferred to be the main man.  Clearly lacking in pace going by his own words and unwilling to take his hat off in training as he never heads the ball?!  It is sad to see that he never did anything after leaving us and ended up moving to Neath.

    I agree with this overall.

Despite his flaws I liked Trundle when he was here, and he did admit in the interview several times that his attitude was wrong and that Johnson despite his flaws actually achieved a lot. He probably wasn't quite fit enough for this level and the defenders are a lot sharper. He scored a 3 crackers I'll never forget though.

I also think people bashing Gary Johnson for his man management would have a very different reaction if Famara  Diedhiou or Nicky Maynard said that they had refused to take off their hats in training as they didn't fancy heading the ball, and also admitted they got pissed up before the start of the new season.

I watched a YouTube video from httc  severns (Alfie potts)

He described the championship as 11 teams fighting for promotion, 11 teams fighting against relegation and then you had Preston and Bristol city

Just about sums it up and potts is a massive Hull fan

Alfie does some great videos. His one the other day which on the surface was about a football stadium that's never been built in Lithuania, but in reality the video was about Lithuania's political history for the last 30 years.

Didn't he suffer a really bad injury for us towards the end of the season? Knee I think? Was never the same after.

Yeah fairly sure he has serious knee injuries that he never recovered from.

I haven't looked at their forum but I wouldn't be best pleased to read that web site. It does explain where the owners focus has been the last few months.

They aren't very happy. The spelling and design all over the place. Also I'd be concerned that there are no pictures of this academy and no information on the coaches? They do have some good reviews already though at the bottom of the page. The one that says the academy is "top notch" particularly stood out.

Was actually complimentary about his time at City. Had a lot of respect for Danny Wilson and Tinman.

Genuinely think his most consistent period in his career was with us as well.

Yeah definitely came accross how much he respected Tinnion. Seems like Tinnion had a real aptitude with youngsters all the way through.

Also interesting to see the contrast between professionalism at City compared to Reading. Sounds like they were leagues ahead of us.

He scored about 20 goals in 50 games for Reading in the Championship and the Premiership so I reckon they got his best period due to the level. He never really hit those scoring heights again and I'm only an hour in. Were there injuries?

He was amazing for us and seems he has a genuine love for playing now at Nuneaton.

Did anyone see the Undr the cosh with Westley? Absolute David Brent with his business background and I had to give up on it.

strange that the blues fans don't seem that bothered about the sacking. All knew it was coming

Birmingham fans I've seen are to exasperated to really show much emotion. Think it's a stupid decision, but a feeling of "typical Blues" when it looked like things were getting better.

    Great post and spot on.

However...what pisses me off the most, is as soon as the ' racist' term is used, it's immediately seen as white being racist against black.

Imo..it's the other way these days.

Whites are now constantly questioning what they say etc...

I know I'll get flack for this...but for every ' Black awards ceremonies ' for various Profession's in life...( Google it)...imagine the furore if we had white awards ceremonies.

It's freakin broken...and imo considerably devisive.

I literally don't see colour like you implied..until it's put in a title and made a point of.

    It's nuts.

It's definitely this way around especially in football.

It's always white people getting abused for the colour of their skin in games, and online. After England went out of the Euros the abuse white players got was shocking compared to our black players. Accross Europe it isn't Black players being racially abused with monkey chants, but white players are always getting racially abused on a daily basis and this is especially true in Eastern Europe. Not enough people talk about this, and I blame the MSM, WEF and Bill Gates for this tragedy.

It's awful that white people now have to think if they are being racist before they say something that is definitely *not* racist. :(

Berardi is indeed a hell of a player and won the Euros with Italy of course.

Despite a bizarre period when he was co-owned by Juventus but never played for them he's a one club man, which is admirable as I'm sure he could have got bigger money elsewhere.

I find that co-ownership thing really mind boggling.

They are definitely doing great. I hope they don't end up like the Flying Donkeys. I used to enjoy watching them growing up and "adopted" them as the underdog. Weirdly in the away around 2009 at QPR there were a few Hellas fans who I had a great chat with.

    Good luck to Sassuolo.

He’s a really nice bloke , lives in the same village as us and often seen him about. Must admit I thought it was a bit of Billy big bollocks but is actually quite grounded and down to earth

The finances that are being paid especially at such a young age are killing the game and leading to clubs over committing financially

Think I've seen him talk about the money he was offered at a young age and how it was mind bending at the time. It was a good insight.

He was very talented and it's a shame injuries really finished him off.

Oh there must be loads, promotions are quite rare and there are a lot of clubs who don't really expect more than survival season on season.

Gary Rowett sprang to mind, but not sure if he went up with Burton. Couldn't see it when I had a quick look on wiki.

As an aside what do people think of the coverage of SSN? I'm finding it very professional but lacking the matey humour of past seasons.

Is it me or is there a weird hue to the display? Maybe it's just a lighting thing. And I agree with who said about the vidiprinter, but it's slightly off.

Overall it's fine - I think it was a mistake to make the seats further away from eachother though. Obviously never going to replace Jeff, but I don't mind most of the people on and I'm one of a few on here who finds Clinton quite amusing.
