Coventry are a mess. Despite that he has performed miracles. They had to sell Hyam on the cheap for cash flow reasons. Apparently they were days away from administration. Their owners will not invest any money and won't make any money available for transfers. There is uncertainty surrounding the stadium. It won't be long until Cov cash in on their better players and Robins won't recieve the funds from that. The job here is very similar but for different reasons. His wages would probably be doubled here. We have the stability of infrastructure and ownership. If things improved then he would be given funds. I think he'd find it hard to turn down.

I'm not in the Pearson out camp, however IF he were to leave I'd look no further than Mark Robins. Ex player, interviewed for the job a few times. Has done wonders at Cov with no budget, gives youth a go. Can get his teams playing good football but can also organise them to shut up shop. Is that good enough?

You're making a number of assumptions. Those being that teams wanted to buy our players and that our owners were willing to sell them. A new manager would still have to work under the exact same constraints as Pearson is having to.

Well to clear this up... We've had SIX home games since Oct 1st. Plus two close away games. We now have two more home games within a week. It's a school night. Weather is terrible. Poor opposition. Not long til Christmas. Oh and finally, we're living through a cost of living crisis where people can't even afford to heat their homes, let alone attend 8 home games within 6 weeks.

I had to turn this weeks off. Just by listening to it you'd have thought we were cut off adrift at the bottom of the table and that it was the worst we had ever played. I thought it was a really good solid point from a game we should have lost. We've all spoken about not getting anything out of these type of games before and on Saturday we did get a point and still that's not good enough? I actually felt quite down after listening to half of it so had to switch it off.
