  1. But thats OK isn't it? If he was at Real Madrid, felt under appreciated by the fans, staff, etc and his motivation went. this just a normal human reaction surely. As far as I'm aware he never refused to play, but instead of putting that extra dedication in, he went and did something he enjoyed in golf. It's not his fault Real Madrid offered him a £500k p/w contract.
  2. I enjoy your posts and opinions Dave, but my god you are the biggest football nerd I've ever seen!
  3. Ray Parlour made a good point on Talksport this morning that if they want to speed the game up with throw-ins, if you don’t take it within 5 seconds, it goes to the other team like a foul throw.
  4. It's when it moves to the main part of the forum is when I get excited!
  5. These are the sort of players people use to beat the club down if we don't sign them and they go on to better things. This is the best round peg in a round hole signing we could have made this summer IMO.
  6. So if you lend a mate a tenner, when he pays it back to you snatch it off him or say thanks?
  7. That’s what a plastic fan would say.
  8. What if your eyesight is bad and you lost your glasses, but you don't need them to watch City on the iPad? Surely your opinion is more valid if you watch from home?
  9. I’ve watched most of the under 23 games when they’ve been in Robins TV this season and each time they’ve played Zac Bell and James Taylor stand out to me as very good players and they are having good games today, especially Taylor.
  10. Been fine for me, you need to invest in better internet rather than blaming Robins TV.
  11. I just went to have a look to see what sort of bot or idiot was posting, but it’s literally every post is homophobic. Horrendous!
  12. Not much of a mix from different clubs there!
  13. Wasn't it that Ben looked the better player a few years ago?
  14. He didn’t say it matters more, he said more people will SEE it.
  15. Great, was sneakily ‘watching’ the game in the office, went for a poo and we score!
  16. It was his city training kit that gave him away? Not the massive afro?
  17. I’d have to disagree with this. I was speaking to a work colleague last week whose friend is the uncle of the son of former City player Wayne Andrews. This kid is 17 and just signed his first contract with Watford on £9,000 per week. We are seeing Scott linked with Spurs, Everton and I think it was Leeds who are all bigger clubs than Watford and will therefore pay more to youth players. On top of the signing on fee after a transfer of an optimistic for us £20m, they would pay Scott at least £20,000 per week. He’s probably not on a 5th of that here. The reason Scott would stay here is for the game time. He has seen he will play almost every minute of every game and hopefully in a more central role next season if we get a couple of right backs in. Long term, playing games will be far more beneficial to his career trajectory and ultimately his bank balance than 1 contract at Spurs where he’d earn more but then never play first team games and not develop to what he can and then end up as potentially a lower league journeyman.
  18. I’d rather see 4000 city fans at mk dons than 300 in Sunderland!
  19. I heard the commentator say a couple of times that audio only were listening to his feed. If you did listen, you wouldn’t of had a clue what was going on. He’d say someone’s name but not what they were doing or where they were.
  20. To be fair he's not going to say that he's looking to jump ship to the prem for all the extra money he'll get is he!
  21. Imagine how angry you would have been had Wells got 20 this season and not Andi!
  22. We were away to Hull, was a 1-1 draw and outside the ground one of our 'fans' tried to kick a police dog. That did not go very well for him. After the game I did see a guy take a swipe at a police horse.
  23. I’ve never understood why people get their knickers in a twist if someone ‘likes’ another football team. Theres a few teams I quite like, but it’s Bristol City that I’d only actively want to watch live. Ive attended Man City v Watford about 12 years ago because all my mates are Watford fans and we had a big weekend out in Manchester so went along, Man City v I think it was Salzburg in the Europa League about 10 years ago ( was a student in Manchester and tickets were a fiver) and Real Madrid v Sevilla in Cardiff for the Super Cup Final as work sponsored it so got tickets. Got to see C. Ronaldo play.
  24. To be fair, ours was 0.05 at half time v Sheff Utd...
