A post about the possible postponement of a football match due to adverse weather, has now evolved in to an in depth discussion on faggots, chitterlings and childhood local butchers...
Only on OTIB.
Was just about to post the same!
Weather is fine here this morning by the way

Suggest you let her watch the opening two minutes of the second half….she’ll soon fall asleep!

She’d nodded off, so I popped downstairs to sort out the lounge that was covered in duplo, and flipping missed our second!

Getting any sleep at night?
I just meant that it was easier for the virgin signal to travel a short distance!
Depends on the night! I’m currently trying to get her to go to sleep so I can watch the second half in peace!

But you live close to the ground!
I live in South Glos these days, but the main reason I’m not there is I have a 1 year old now, and so evening games are tricky for me to go to.

What channel on virgin, nothing available at the mo?
I can’t get it to work on virgin either

Electric or hybrid? Genuine question, although I’m gonna need a 7 seater, and they’re not cheap. Just wondering if full electric is better as it’ll future proof it for longer?

Was the Chelsea guy the one who stood up in the council hall and started doing impressions of reversing trucks?
”MEEP, MEEP , MEEP, MEEP”
He’ll have plenty of reference material with a new housing estate being built.
Haha. I’d forgotten that!
My favourite bit was when SL point blank refused to shake Red Trousers hand. I was sat directly behind SL and Maggie and RT was practically begging him by the end of the conversation, Steve was just sat there shaking his head and saying no. I think I leaned over and told Steve I loved him- 1

You’re not wrong, the section on their website about how they represent our fans hasn’t been updated for two and a half years ... so we don’t really know what they are doing now?
If you click on the news tab it has what’s been going on lately there. I agree it could be formatted/laid out better though. https://www.bristolcitysupporters.org/category/news/

I’m going partly because it’s the only thing I get to go out and do without my 1 year old attached to me for a few hours, but mainly because I think it’s the last time we’ll be allowed to go to games for a while again sadly.

Nope. Had a very nice Sunday roast if you must know

They usually contact you a couple of days before with an itinerary. I went to the ladies game and had hospitality. For 3pm kick off, we had to be there at 1:30.

Ah ok thanks. Can’t see anything online though? I don’t live local so shop visits are limited to matchdays but the shop is always so busy! I might have to give it another go at the Huddersfield game.
They’re on the back of the bit you have to walk along to get to the tills.

Unless i’m missing it somewhere you’d think the club would have a selection of baby items too such as baby grows, bibs etc.
Me and the wife are expecting our first child early next year, a little boy and i’d definitely be in the market for some city merchandise if they offered it. Especially as two of the grandparents are massive Man City fans so i need to make sure the little one is brought up in the right colours!
All i can find instead are custom items sold online by small businesses which may include the name Bristol City etc on them but nothing with the official badge and branding produced by the club.
Another missed opportunity by the club if you ask me!
They got a bunch of new stuff in store recently. Babygros, bibs and vests etc. I bought some for my one year old in the last few weeks, they have younger stuff as well.

I can’t be the only one slightly worried that one day one of these idiots is going to run on the pitch with the intent of doing either a player or one of the officials some serious harm, instead of just running about like a prat.

I recall we sadly lost someone, I think to a heart attack, in the Dolman during the Gary Johnson era iirc. Medics tried unsuccessfully to save him but the game wasn’t stopped.
