Yep, he has never played in central defence!
Crap from BBC then - do they even watch the game they report on!

He hasn't, that's just BBC sport getting the formations very wrong.
Twice?

I noticed our other loan back signing Josh Stokes has lined up in central defence in 2 of Aldershot's 3 games since we signed him, I thought he was an attacking midfielder/ striker? ...or just very versatile

Absolutely it will be.
LJ has always tried to outdo his father which is why the over complicated approach he has to what is a simple game.
He'll never outdo Gary Johnson - 1000 games as Manager, six promotions ( 8 if you count his role at Cambridge Utd in a duo with John Beck) - one of the all time great EFL managers as I'm sure you'll agree.

I think LM said Twine wouldn't be back until the QPR game at the earliest.
We'll get confirmation later from Ian on the pod

Without listening to the consistently changing guff that comes out of the club hierarchy, what are the expectations of us, the fans
With that in mind, we're on the right track. We'll definitely get there, my main frustration with the SL ownership is that it's taking far too long to achieve this.
Why can other smaller, or similar sized clubs overtake us so quickly? That's the question I can never quite answer.
You've answered your own question!

In fairness I recall that.
Do you think they just looked at who were the top 2 head-coaches in Lg1?
Joking aside Dave I think that's basically what they did. Who are the young head coaches currently doing well who would consider Bristol City a step up? That was probably JL's thought process. I doubt they were tracking LM prior to the decision to fire Nigel or anything like that.

It’s pretty simple for me. The owners act as if they are more important than the club.
Very true. I think they truly believe that as well, especially SL.

Sky interviewer to Liam Manning - a massive task tonight- etc , .. ..so disrespectful we're at home against another championship club, a league where anyone can beat anyone , to listen to Sky it's like we're L2 v Man City in the cup.
TBH after listening to Sky if we can keep the score below 6-0 I'm going to bed happy!

I have been there once, for a few hours, but only passed through to be honest.
I probably go to Bavaria two or three times a year - we have family in Munich - and, as you say, the food and beer are nice (and copious!).
If you don’t know it, and feel you have an appetite, try a typical Bavarian dish.
Schweinshaxe. Very nice.
I tried it a few months ago and struggled to finish it.
Pork Knuckle?

FWIW if you are driving down the Portway from the M5 it's probably quicker to exit at Portbury and come in that way down Rownham Hill past Bemmy cricket club even without the accident/closure. I live north of Bristol and I don't bother exiting the M5 at Avonmouth due to the regular long queues on the Portway and use the route above.
The P & R will use the Shirehampton Rd I expect and then Stoke Hill, Downs, past where the zoo was and down Bridge Valley.
Hope everyone gets there ok.
