I'd imagine this is backed up by the stats. Also, we have only lost 4 games in our last 18, so it appears we might be as good as, if not a better team with Max in goal.

Statistically we've been much better defensively this year too, versus last with Bents in goal.

We have yet I’d argue neither is good enough to make us a top 6 team although I slightly prefer max to db 

That’s nothing - I once did 28 away games without a win and just 5 draws over an 20 month period. I expect there will be some on here who have gone longer too…

Cullen’s goal for Swansea was just a consequence of the shot being taken just as he’s adjusting his feet.

Philogene’s goal was a well struck shot from outside the box into the near post.

Can’t save everything!  A goal doesn’t always have to be a mistake / classed as an error.

I would - especially the first at Swansea. Don’t think he should be beaten at his near post at Cardiff but that wasn’t exactly terrible.

Yes we should be fine but when games don't go to plan A that is when Southgate just struggles a bit. Such a strong squad, some top quality players and he has them working well together.

If we could top the group early he could give more time to the likes if Gallagher and Toney to build experience rather than the odd 10 minutes here and there.

We are pretty much done as top two go to euros. We’ve won 2 of the 4 tough games and looked very comfortable today. We will qualify. 

No idea what people moaning about there. Dominant against a side who turned up to put 11 behind ball mostly. They offered nothing and we should have won by 3 or 4 in the end. As comfortable as could have hoped 

Got train down from Rome to Naples yesterday £35 and took 75 mins at about 1pm.

Train back at 5pm… 2 hours and £25. Both pretty reasonable I think.

I’d probably put Cornick at 4 too. Max maybe too as he should save definitely first and kicking poor. Maybe a better keeper saves 2nd too although certainly nowhere near as bad as the 1st.

Why Weimann wasn’t played from the start down the middle god only knows. I’m generally supportive of Pearson but that wasn’t a great choice.

His pass success stats alway get distorted by those cross field passes that all our back 4 make, but - a couple of long cross field ones aside - he just didn't do it going forward for me today.
